  • Patent number: 11962725
Abstract: A method and system for maintaining privacy in private postal mail, such as privileged or other legal postal mail or medical mail, at a correctional facility comprising a privacy verification system to verify a privacy status of a sender and generate privacy status identifiers to be used on the legal postal mail. The privacy status identifiers when scanned or observed at a mail processing facility that processes incoming mail sent to inmates who are incarcerated in a correctional facility provides an indication to the mail processing facility that the mail is private so that appropriate measures can be taken to maintain privacy status.

  • Publication number: 20240046565
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and techniques for providing immersive and interactive three-dimensional (3D) mapping data and visualizations thereof for emergency response incidents. In one example, the systems and techniques can obtain location information associated with an incident and obtain one or more portions of three-dimensional (3D) mapping data based on the location information associated with the incident. A 3D scene associated with the incident can be generated, wherein the 3D scene is generated based on the one or more portions of 3D mapping data. A first 3D view of the 3D scene can be generated, wherein the first 3D view includes one or more incident location indicators representing the location information of the incident relative to the 3D scene.

  • Patent number: 11829704
Abstract: Dynamic web content personalization may be used to alter a web page such that two different people who view that web page do not see the exact same content on that page. The present disclosure includes techniques that allow a web page to be structured, via underlying source code, so that content can be dynamically generated based on a user transaction history. Further, dynamic content customization can effectively change the layout and functionality of a web page in ways not previously contemplated. For example, different control elements may become accessible based on a particular contextual user profile assigned to a user based on a transaction history. Modular content modules may also have a different appearance for different users.

Abstract: Cleave systems for cleaving a semiconductor structure are disclosed. The cleave systems may include a cleave arm that is moveable from a starting position to a raised position in which a cleave stress is applied to the semiconductor structure. Spring members store energy as the cleave arm is raised with the stored spring energy causing the structure to cleave into two pieces upon initiation of the cleave across the structure.

  • Publication number: 20220314964
Abstract: The apparatus and system for integrating an electric motor into a vehicle may convert a vehicle from an internal combustion vehicle to a hybrid-electric vehicle. One or more electric motors may be integrated into a powertrain between an internal combustion engine and a transmission. A supervisory controller may monitor and control operation of the internal combustion engine, clutching assembly, transmission, one or more electric motors, or any combination thereof to add mechanical power to the powertrain, remove mechanical power from the powertrain, or neutrally balance the transfer of mechanical power between the powertrain and the one or more electric motors. This conversion may be operable to produce torque from both internal combustion and electrical sources and may be operable to recover energy via regenerative braking. The conversion may be performed with little downtime and with the basic fundamental knowledge of a savvy car enthusiast.

  • Patent number: 11430346
Abstract: Disclosed are some implementations of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for facilitating the validation of assessments in an eLearning environment. Validation is facilitated using an assessment definition that includes one or more application programming interfaces (APIs) and identifies, for each of the APIs, a corresponding plugin and handler. Each of the APIs is configurable to obtain at least one user response to a corresponding challenge task via the corresponding plugin and each handler is configurable to validate the user response returned via the corresponding API. The accuracy of the user response to each challenge task is determined via the corresponding handler identified within the assessment definition. APIs can include a third party API, enabling validation of user responses across different systems. The user's knowledge may be assessed based upon the accuracy of the user's responses to all of the challenge tasks.
