Publication number: 20230297571Abstract: Some embodiments provide a program that receives a first selection of a first set of attributes in a first data model, a second selection of a second set of attribute in a second data model, a third selection of a first dimension in the first data model, and a fourth selection of a second dimension in second data model. The program further receives a request for data for a visualization. The program also generates a blend definition based on the first set of attributes, the second set of attributes, the first dimension in the first data model, and the second dimension in the second data model. The program further generates a blended query model based on the blend definition. The program also executes a query based on the blended query model to generate a result set of data. The program provides a visualization that includes the result set of data.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 16, 2022Publication date: September 21, 2023Inventor: Justin Wong

Publication number: 20230062012Abstract: Some embodiments provide a program that generates a first query for a first visualization based on a first query model associated with the first visualization. The first query model includes a first reference to a shared object. The program further sends the first query to a computing system. The program also receives from the computing system a first set of data. The program further generates the first visualization based on the first set of data. The program also generates a second query for a second visualization based on a second query model associated with the second visualization. The second query model includes a second reference to the shared object. The program further sends the second query to the computing system. The program also receives from the computing system a second set of data. The program further generates the second visualization based on the second set of data.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 17, 2021Publication date: March 2, 2023Inventors: Justin Wong, Rui Liu, Clarence Chuahuico, Semuel Kadarusman, Veljko Jovanovic

Publication number: 20220384278Abstract: Wafers that begin as flat surfaces during a semiconductor manufacturing process may become warped or bowed as layers and features are added to an underlying substrate. This warpage may be detected between manufacturing processes by rotating the wafer adjacent to a displacement sensor. The displacement sensor may generate displacement data relative to a baseline measurement to identify areas of the wafer that bow up or down. The displacement data may then be mapped to locations on the wafer relative to an alignment feature. This mapping may then be used to adjust parameters in subsequent semiconductor processes, including adjusting how a carrier head on a polishing process holds or applies pressure to the wafer as it is polished.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 28, 2021Publication date: December 1, 2022Applicant: Applied Materials, Inc.Inventors: Justin Wong, Ehud Chatow

Patent number: 11093504Abstract: Some embodiments provide execution of a query on a target data model which is filtered on a measure of a source data model, even if the source data model and the target data model are not logically linked. Some embodiments further support execution of a query on a target data model which is filtered on a measure of a source data model and on a dimension filter of another data model. Some embodiments provide for a substantial amount of query execution to occur on the backend, thereby freeing client resources in comparison to prior approaches.Type: GrantFiled: December 2, 2019Date of Patent: August 17, 2021Assignee: BUSINESS OBJECTS SOFTWARE LTDInventors: Ping Xiang, Semuel Kadarusman, Patrick Wang, Justin Wong, Veljko Jovanovic

Patent number: 11061906Abstract: Some embodiments provide a non-transitory machine-readable medium that stores a program. The program receives from a client device a request for data stored in a database categorized based on a hierarchical dimension. The hierarchical dimension is configured to store values from a plurality of values organized in a hierarchy comprising a plurality of levels. The program further generates an intermediary data structure by combining a first set of the data stored in the database and a second set of data based on a level in the hierarchy. The program also generates results for the request by aggregating the data in the intermediary data structure based on the level in the hierarchy. The program further provides the results for the request to the client device.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 2018Date of Patent: July 13, 2021Assignee: SAP SEInventors: Justin Wong, Clarence Chuahuico, Veljko Jovanovic
