Publication number: 20250076468Abstract: The present invention discloses a solid-state LiDAR device and a scanning method based on a tunable laser array. The array sequentially emits laser beams of different wavelengths, collimated by a collimating lens, and passes through a beam splitter. The beams are then diffracted by a blazed grating and focused by the first focusing lens onto the focal plane of the transmitting lens, and then emitted through the transmitting lens as collimated beams in different directions for wide area scanning. The optical receiving path uses the reversed coaxial system, where the received light returns to the beam splitter, redirects to the second focusing lens, and is finally focused on the detector. This invention incorporates tunable laser arrays, optical systems and dispersion devices to realize a solid-state wide-area scanning LiDAR device without moving parts, offering a wide scanning range, small size and fast scanning speed.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 20, 2024Publication date: March 6, 2025Inventors: Jianjun HE, Kai CHANG, Sen ZHANG, Jiajun HU

Patent number: 10551446Abstract: A magnetic sensor for superconducting quantum interference device using single operational amplifier comprising SQUID, a feedback coil, feedback resistor and an operational amplifier. The voltage signal of SQUID is delivered to one input of the operational amplifier, a bias voltage is delivered to other input of the operational amplifier, and the output of the operational amplifier connects to one end of a feedback resistor, the other end of the feedback resistor connects to a feedback coil that is coupled through mutual inductance with the SQUID so as to generate feedback magnetic flux, the output voltage of the operational amplifier drives the feedback resistance to generate current, thereby forming a flux locking loop. The present invention uses an open loop operational amplifier to implement SQUID magnetic flux locking feedback circuit which simplifies the circuit configuration, decrease the loop delay and thereby achieving higher bandwidth of the flux locking loop.Type: GrantFiled: June 25, 2015Date of Patent: February 4, 2020Assignee: SHANGHAI INSTITUTE OF MICROSYSTEM AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, CHINESE ACADEMY OF SCIENCESInventors: Yongliang Wang, Yi Zhang, Kai Chang, Hans-Joachim Krause, Xiaofeng Xu, Yang Qiu

Patent number: 9959920Abstract: A memory device includes a semiconductor layer with an in-plane polarization component switchable between a first direction and a second direction. A writing electrode is employed to apply a writing voltage to the semiconductor layer to change the in-plane polarization component between the first direction and the second direction. A reading electrode is employed to apply a reading voltage to the semiconductor layer to measure a tunneling current substantially perpendicular to the polarization direction of the in-plane polarization component. The directions of the reading voltage and the writing voltage are substantially perpendicular to each other. Therefore, the reading process is non-destructive. Thin films (e.g., one unit cell thick) of ferroelectric material can be used in the memory device to increase the miniaturization of the device.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2017Date of Patent: May 1, 2018Assignee: Massachusetts Institute of TechnologyInventors: Junwei Liu, Kai Chang, Shuai-Hua Ji, Xi Chen, Liang Fu
