  • Patent number: 9772197
Abstract: A dispatch system for autonomous vehicle is provided. The dispatch system includes a plurality of autonomous vehicles respectively including a communication unit and a control unit. The communication unit obtains a vehicle location information of itself, and communicates with other autonomous vehicles. The control unit obtains a vehicle available information of itself. One of the autonomous vehicles is selected as a dispatch control center for controlling scheduling of all autonomous vehicles. When the dispatch control center receives a transportation request massage, the dispatch control center performs an optimized scheduling assignment and thus generates a scheduling signal. The scheduling signal is transmitted to the other autonomous vehicles by the communication unit, so as to assign one of the autonomous vehicles as a designated vehicle for transportation.

  • Patent number: 9706401
Abstract: User-authentication-based approval of a first device via communication with a second device over a channel (e.g., an insecure channel) is described. The first device receives a session ID and first user-observable information, or an identifier thereof, from an identity provider, presents the first user-observable information to a user, and sends the session ID to the second device. The second device sends the session ID to the identity provider to obtain therefrom second user-observable information, or an identifier thereof, and a security challenge. The second user-observable information bears a user-discernable relationship to the first user-observable information and is presented to the user by the second device. The second device is capable of generating a response to the security challenge for transmission to the identity provider based at least on input received from the user, the response to the security challenge being indicative of the suitability of the first device for approval.

  • Publication number: 20170133868
Abstract: A charging cabinet and a control method thereof are disclosed. The charging cabinet includes a controller, a power supply, switches, a charging detector, a status detector, and sockets electrically connected to devices. The switches are selectively tuned on to connect a current path between one of the sockets and the power supply. When a current value of the current path is smaller than a preset current value, the charging detector products a first detection signal. The status detector produces a second detection signal after counting up to more than a preset time period, during which the charging cabinet stays at a suspension status. The controller turns on at least part of the switches after counting up to more than an idle time period, during which the switches in the charging cabinet at the suspension status are tuned off according to the first and second detection signals.

  • Patent number: 9608457
Abstract: A charging device for commonly charging multiple digital electronic devices has a housing, a charge control unit and multiple outlet strips. The charge control unit is mounted inside the housing and has multiple relays. The outlet strips are electrically connected to the charge control unit with each outlet strip electrically connected to one of the relays. A charging method corresponding to the charging device is performed by the charge control unit without the need of users' configuration during a charge cycle. The charge method automatically determines if the outlet strips can simultaneously supply power to charge during each charge schedule of the charge cycle. At least one outlet strip supplies power to charge during each charge schedule, and each outlet strip supplies power to charge once, thereby achieving optimization for the charging process with automatic determination and enhancing charging efficiency and users' operational convenience.
