  • Patent number: 11190689
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-storage media, for multi-camera video stabilization. In some implementations, a video capture device has a first camera and a second camera. The video capture device provides a digital zoom capability permitting user-specified magnification changes within a digital zoom range during video recording. The video capture device is configured to use video data from different cameras over different portions of the digital zoom range. The video capture device can process image data captured using the second camera by applying a set of transformations including (i) a first transformation to a canonical reference space for the second camera, (ii) a second transformation to a canonical reference space for the first camera, and (iii) a third transformation to apply electronic image stabilization to image data in the canonical reference space for the first camera.

  • Publication number: 20210304359
Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and techniques for creating a super-resolution image (122) of a scene captured by a user device (102). Natural handheld motion (110) introduces, across multiple frames (204, 206, 208) of an image of a scene, sub-pixel offsets that enable the use of super-resolution computations (210) to form color planes (212, 214, 216), which are accumulated (218) and combined (220) to create a super-resolution image (122) of the scene.

  • Patent number: 11132800
Abstract: Apparatus and methods related to image processing are provided. A computing device can determine a first image area of an image, such as an image captured by a camera. The computing device can determine a warping mesh for the image with a first portion of the warping mesh associated with the first image area. The computing device can determine a cost function for the warping mesh by: determining first costs associated with the first portion of the warping mesh that include costs associated with face-related transformations of the first image area to correct geometric distortions. The computing device can determine an optimized mesh based on optimizing the cost function. The computing device can modify the first image area based on the optimized mesh.

  • Publication number: 20210289139
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs stored on a computer-readable storage medium, for video stabilization. In some implementations, a computer system obtains frames of a video captured by a recording device using an optical image stabilization (OIS) system. The computing system receives (i) OIS position data indicating positions of the OIS system during capture of the frames, and (ii) device position data indicating positions of the recording device during capture of the frames. The computing system determines a first transformation for a particular frame based on the OIS position data for the particular frame and device position data for the particular frame. The computing system determines a second transformation for the particular frame based on the first transformation and positions of the recording device occurring after capture of the particular frame. The computing system generates a stabilized version of the particular frame using the second transformation.

  • Publication number: 20210277778
Abstract: A method for evaluating brittleness of a deep shale reservoir and a computer readable storage medium. The method includes determining a Rickman brittleness index of the deep shale reservoir and determining an effective pressure of the deep shale reservoir according to a pore pressure and an overlying formation pressure of the deep shale reservoir. The Rickman brittleness index is adjusted to obtain the brittleness index of the deep shale reservoir according to an exponential relationship of the brittleness index with the effective pressure of the deep shale reservoir. Inherent properties, such as rock brittle mineral content and the like, are better indicated by the Rickamn brittleness index, and then the brittleness index of the deep shale reservoir is obtained by utilizing the exponential relationship of the brittleness index with the effective pressure of the deep shale reservoir, to realize reasonable evaluation for the brittleness of the deep shale reservoir.

  • Patent number: 11102413
Abstract: Implementations generally relate to locking a camera onto a sub-region to capture images of the sub-region with a moving camera. In some implementations, a method includes determining a first region in a scene detected by a camera while the camera is in a first physical position. The method further includes receiving user input to target a sub-region within the first capture region of the scene and capturing the first image of the sub-region while the camera is in the first physical position. The first image is displayed in a fixed orientation on a preview portion of a display screen. The camera is moved to a second physical position and a second capture region of the scene is detected. The method further includes capturing a second image is of the sub-region and displaying it in the fixed orientation on the preview portion of the display screen. The second image is effective to inform a user of whether capture of the sub-region is altered by camera movement.

  • Publication number: 20210152561
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods for creating compliance boundaries. In one example, compliance boundaries may be implemented via a compliance tool. Data associated with a tenant may be segregated using a plurality of layers defining one or more compliance boundaries. In response to an action initiated by a compliance administrator using the compliance tool for accessing the data, it may be determined which data is within the one or more compliance boundaries associated with the compliance administrator. Access to the data determined to be within the one or more compliance boundaries associated with the compliance administrator may be authorized.

  • Publication number: 20200411353
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for increasing voltage breakdown levels of an electrostatic chuck in a process chamber. A soft anodization layer with a thickness of greater than zero and less than approximately 10 microns is formed on an aluminum base of the electrostatic chuck. The soft anodization layer remains thermally elastic in a temperature range of approximately ?50 degrees Celsius to approximately 100 degrees Celsius. An alumina spray coating is then applied on the soft anodization layer. The soft anodization layer provides thermal stress relief between the aluminum base and the alumina spray coating to reduce/eliminate cracking caused by the thermal expansion rate differences between the aluminum base and the alumina spray coating.

  • Publication number: 20200359001
Abstract: A camera module includes a circuit board, two photosensitive chips fixed on a surface of the circuit board, two lens assemblies respectively mounted over the two photosensitive chips, two filter assemblies each including a visible light filter and an infrared filter, and an infrared projection unit fixed on a surface of the circuit board and projecting patterned infrared light. The filter assemblies respectively correspond to the photosensitive chips and the lens assemblies. The visible light filter and the infrared filter of the filter assemblies are switched to be between the lens assembly and the photosensitive chip. When the visible light filters are between the lenses and the photosensitive chips, the photosensitive chips acquire visible light to form a colored 3D image. When the infrared filters are between the lenses and the photosensitive chips, the photosensitive chips acquire reflected patterned infrared light to form an infrared 3D image.

  • Patent number: 10827128
Abstract: A camera module of minimal size but with zoom function includes a zoom assembly, a base, and a fixed focus assembly. The zoom assembly and the fixed focus assembly are fixed in the base. The zoom assembly is driven by piezoelectric element instead of voice coil motor and includes an actuator and an optical unit. The actuator defines a first receiving groove holding the optical unit in place over the first through hole. When powered, the piezoelectric element changes a shape of the optical unit to change a focal length of the zoom assembly. An electronic device including such a camera module is also provided.
