    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a temperature sensitive system. The system includes a powder, a detector, a first electrode, a second electrode and an actuator. The powder, the detector, the first electrode, the second electrode and the actuator are connected to form a loop circuit. The actuator can deform in response to temperature change so that the circuit to be on or off. The detector is connected to the actuator in parallel or in series and configured to show the current change of the loop circuit to the user. The actuator includes a carbon nanotube layer and a vanadium dioxide layer (VO2) layer stacked with each other. Because the drastic, reversible phase transition of VO2, the actuator has giant deformation amplitude and fast response and the temperature sensitive system has high sensitivity.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides microwave intrusion detecting device with multi-direction and multi-range fence which detects human or vehicle intrusions within altering range by transmitting microwave signals and receiving echo signals. It includes pair of detecting units, a signal unit, a processor, a control interface, an alarm unit, a storage unit, a communication unit, and a power supply unit. The pair of detection units are physically composed back-to-back which can form a long-distance electronic fence. The second detection unit can be separated from a main body to adjust the antenna coverage angle to adapt to environment or obstacles. The signal unit generates the frequency modulated continuous wave signal to the two detecting units respectively. The processor can set thresholds segments to from passing gates in microwave intrusion detecting device and can generate an alarm unit message.

    Abstract: A method for detecting fault in a power transmission line of a power transmission system and protection system using the same. The method includes: obtaining a system parameter of the power transmission system, adjusting protection reachability of a fault detecting element based on the obtained system parameter such that the adjusted protection reachability of the fault detecting element is applicable to a predetermined protection range, identifying whether there is an internal fault occurring on the transmission line using the adjusted fault detecting element, and generating a fault detection decision signal indicating the identified fault. If the predetermined protection range is desirable for the fault detecting element, its protection reachability may be adjusted in consideration of the influence imposed by the SIR such that the reach point of the adjusted fault detecting element can be extended to approach the end of the predetermined protection range.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for providing peak current mode control (PCMC) for power converters using discrete analog components. A pair of complementary bipolar junction transistors may be used to set a maximum duty cycle for the power converter. PCMC may be achieved using a comparator that compares peak input current to an error feedback signal and terminates a pulse-width modulation (PWM) pulse when the peak input current exceeds the error feedback signal. A magnetic signal transformer may be used to establish a secondary side bias voltage supply, to return the error signal, and to drive an AC-coupled signal for a synchronous gate drive. A synchronous switch may be turned on when the main switch is turned off via an output winding of the flyback transformer and may be turned off by the trailing edge of a clock pulse from the magnetic signal transformer before the main switch is turned on.

A wireless device may transmit data to a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) group, which may include a WTRU and further include its own respective at least one logical channel group. The wireless device may produce a BSR, which may include an indication associated with the logical channel group and an index indicating an amount of data for the logical channel group. The wireless device may transmit the BSR to an eNode-B. Then, the wireless device may receive receives allocation information for transmission to the WTRU group. Also, the BSR may further include a plurality of indications associated with a respective plurality of logical channel groups, and the plurality of logical channel groups may be grouped based on priority. The index may further include a total amount of data across all logical channels of the logical channel group.

A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) transmits a non-access stratum (NAS) message with a content sharing session request to a network entity. The network entity verifies that the WTRU and a sharing WTRU are allowed to participate in a content sharing session. Upon verification, the network entity sends a NAS response with the content sharing session set-up information to the WTRU and sends a resource allocation request for the content sharing session to other network entities.
