  • Publication number: 20100051355
Abstract: An improved structure of capacitive touch panel mainly improves the arrangement of induction-spots on ends of X and Y axis traces so that the capacitive sensing area on edges of the working area of a touch panel are arranged equally. Thus, the sensing signals on edges of the working area of the touch panel can be detected so as to maximize the actual effecting area of the touch panel.

  • Publication number: 20100006347
Abstract: A cover lens with touch sensing function is a transparent plate formed by a substrate, a surface layer, a sensing layer, and an insulated layer. The substrate of the cover lens is a highly transparent plate with outstanding mechanical strength. The surface layer consists of one or a plurality of functional films and is arranged on an upper surface of the substrate. The sensing layer is arranged on a bottom surface of the substrate and further has a plurality of X axis traces and Y axis traces. The X and Y axis traces are formed on the same plane and intersect to each other as a matrix. Induction-spots are formed on each X axis trace and are connected one by one. Induction-spots are formed on each Y axis trace but are formed separately with gaps. Pairs of through holes is formed respectively to all the adjacent induction-spots of each Y axis trace on the insulated layer. A conductive wire crossing between the pair of the through holes is arranged on the surface of the insulated layer.

Abstract: A capacitive touch panel is made of transparent panel assembled by a substrate layer, a sensing layer, an insulated layer, and a surface layer. A plurality of transparent X and Y axis traces are arranged on the same plane of the sensing layer and the X and Y axis traces intersect each other as a matrix. Induction-spots formed on each X axis trace are connected one by one, while the induction-spots of each Y axis trace are formed separately with gaps. Through holes in pair are formed on the insulated layer respectively to all the abreast induction-spots of each Y axis trace. A conductive wire is arranged above and across the pair of through holes. Both ends of the conductive wire exposed to the through holes respectively are formed as electrical joints. While the insulated layer is arranged above the sensing layer.

Abstract: A capacitive touch panel is assembled by a substrate layer, sensing layer, and surface layer. A plurality of transparent X and Y axis traces are arranged on the sensing layer and intersect each other as a matrix. A front end of each X trace and each Y trace has a joint. The plurality of X axis traces and Y axis traces are arranged at the same plane. Each X axis trace includes a plurality of induction-spots and each Y axis trace includes a plurality of induction-spots. The induction-spots of one X axis trace are connected one by one, while the induction-spots of one Y axis trace are formed separately with gaps. The adjacent induction-spots of Y axis trace are connected by a bridge structure and the induction-spots of the Y axis trace are insulated to the respective one of the plurality of X axis trace.

  • Publication number: 20090303191
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a touch panel includes following steps. A substrate is used and an upper surface thereof is formed with a plurality of lower electrode units. A periphery of each lower electrode unit is formed with a gluing frame, and a periphery of the substrate is formed with a sealing frame. A panel layer is used and a lower surface thereof is formed with a plurality of upper electrode units. By the gluing frame and the sealing frame, the substrate and the panel layer are combined together as a combined plate. The combined plate is etched by solution of hydrofluoric acid. One or more than one function film is attached to a surface above each electrode unit. A cutter is used for cutting the panel layer from an upper side thereof and to form a trench, and the substrate is pressed along the trench of the substrate for separating the substrate into a plurality of independent touch panels along the predetermined cutting line.
