    Abstract: A real number sine/cosine wave basis function transform circuit includes a window segmentation element, a first transform element, a second transform element and a root-sum-square (RSS) element. The window segmentation element is provided to segment an in-phase output signal and a quadrature output signal to output an in-phase window signal and a quadrature window signal. The first and second transform elements are provided to transform the in-phase window signal and the quadrature window signal using a real number sine/cosine wave basis function to obtain a first transformed signal and a second transformed signal, respectively. The RSS element is provided to calculate an RSS value of the first and second transformed signals and output a real number sine/cosine wave basis function transformed signal.

    Abstract: A high efficiency fuel reforming and/or electricity generating system and method utilizes the heat generated by CPOX reforming and or fuel cell operation as an energy source to drive steam reforming. Enhanced efficiencies of over 10%, 35%, 40%, and even over 50-55% can be achieved. A CPOX reformer generates hydrogen. A fuel cell converts this hydrogen into electricity, heat and steam. A secondary fuel line can be combined with the heat and steam generated by the fuel cell and steam reform the secondary fuel into additional hydrogen. This additional hydrogen can be used to generate additional electricity, creating even more heat and steam.

    Abstract: In a displacement monitoring method based on elliptical trajectory calibration and modified principal component analysis, four channels are compressed into two set signals through linear combination to solve null point issue in Doppler radar and cancel clutter effect. The two sets linear combined signals make two tilted elliptical trajectories which can be calibrated for DC offset, amplitude imbalance and phase imbalance using simple computation. Due to the elliptical trajectories are mirror symmetric tilt ellipses, the residual clutter can be cancelled to recover a clear Doppler phase after demodulation and combination.

Paraffin inhibiting efficiency is predicted based on the historical data set and extrapolated unknown properties for the plurality of paraffin inhibitors that may be used with the target crude oil. One or more of a list of crude oils having one or more properties within a numerical tolerance of the properties of the target crude oil, a list of paraffin inhibitors for use with the target crude oil, and a list of paraffin inhibitor properties are output.

The method further includes deriving a denoised MR image based on the analysis, wherein the denoised MR image is a combined image based on the first MR image and the second MR image and outputting the denoised MR image.

Since the estimated representation may be sparse, a deep neural network (DNN) may be used to predict values for a dense representation of the 3D surface structure from the sparse representation. For example, a sparse 3D point cloud may be projected to form a sparse projection image (e.g., a sparse 2D height map), which may be fed into the DNN to predict a dense projection image (e.g., a dense 2D height map). The predicted dense representation of the 3D surface structure may be provided to an autonomous vehicle drive stack to enable safe and comfortable planning and control of the autonomous vehicle.
