  • Patent number: 5115323
Abstract: A wide bandwidth color video signal, such as a high definition television (HDTV) signal is recorded on a video disc by timebase expanding the luminance component and timebase compressing the color difference components to a bandwidth substantially equal to the bandwidth of the timebase expanded luminance component. The timebase expanded luminance component and the timebase compressed color difference components are time division multiplexed and separated into plural channels of multiplexed signals, each of which is recorded in a respective track on the video disc.

  • Patent number: 4731675
Abstract: A dropout correcting apparatus has a dropout detecting circuit for detecting a dropout from a reproduced video signal. A mixing circuit superimposes a dropout detecting flag signal from the dropout detecting circuit upon the reproduced video signal. A time base fluctuation correcting circuit removes a jitter component of an output signal from the mixing circuit. A dropout detecting signal separating circuit separates the dropout detecting flag signal from the output signal of the time base fluctuation correcting circuit, and a dropout correcting circuit corrects the dropout of the reproduced video signal in response to the separated dropout detecting flag signal.

  • Patent number: 4697772
Abstract: A camera platform, which is mounted on a tilt member by means of a shaft, is allowed to rock around the shaft, between a horizontal position and a vertical position. A bracket of the platform can slide relatively to a support portion of the tilt member, in the axial direction of the shaft. First and second recesses are formed in an end face of the bracket. The support portion of the tilt member is formed with a projection, which is fitted alternatively in one of the recesses. When the platform is in its horizontal position, the projection is fitted in the first recess. When the platform is in its vertical position, the projection is fitted in the second recess. The projection can be disengaged from the first or second recess by only sliding the bracket of the camera platform in the axial direction of the shaft.

  • Patent number: 4626960
Abstract: A semiconductor device including a ceramic base having a cavity carrying a semiconductor chip, and a ceramic cap covering and sealing the ceramic base. The cap has a metallization pattern covering not only a region where it contacts the base but also the four side surfaces of the cap, which is provided in order to prevent flow or flying out of excess solder toward the outside of the cap and the base and into the cavity.

  • Patent number: 4525052
Abstract: A device for fixing a camera to a tripod which comprises a base and a slider to which a camera is to be fitted. Both base and slider are prepared from synthetic resin. The slider is slidably fitted on the base. One of the slider and base is provided with a projection, and the other thereof is provided with an integral elastically deformable piece. This deformable piece involves a protrusion engageable with the above-mentioned projection when the slider is set on the base, and a free end which allows for the elastic deformation to remove the slide from the base.
