  • Publication number: 20140000129
Abstract: The present invention relates to functional footwear of a new concept, which adapts itself to the shape of a foot and gives a soft feeling when walking The footwear includes: an upper foot fixing section (1) for covering and fixing an upper portion of a foot; and a foot supporting section (8) attached to the upper foot fixing section for supporting a lower portion of the foot. The foot supporting section comprises a soft resilient mat (2) which can be deformed according to the shape of the foot. The footwear has a simple structure and can give a feeling of walking barefoot on a sponge mat or on a lawn like a extreme-soft-elastic carpet to provide complete comfort to the wearer during walking.

  • Publication number: 20130318834
Abstract: The sole (3) consists of at least one upper layer (4), which is directed towards the upper of the item of footwear, and at least one lower layer (5), which is directed away from said upper, wherein the upper layer and the lower layer consist of materials of different levels of elasticity, density or hardness. That side of the sole which is directed towards the upper of the item of footwear forms a bearing surface (6) for the foot, with a heel zone (7) and a ball-of-the-foot zone (8). The lower layer (5) passes through the upper layer (4) at least in part such that the bearing surface (6) is formed by regions of the lower layer and of the upper layer. The sole construction according to the invention makes it possible to combine, in optimum fashion, the different material properties in the region of the bearing surface.

  • Patent number: 8339260
Abstract: A hazardous area in the region surrounding a reel transport of a reel changer is secured. A contactless protective device is located at the access boundaries of the region. This protective device can be deactivated for feeding and/or removing a known object and comprises an evaluation unit. The protective device is configured as a light curtain that is comprised of a plurality of light beams that run in parallel to each other. The evaluation unit includes an assembly for detecting the sequence of the interruption of the light beams during the feeding and/or the removal of an object. Based on the detected sequence of interruption of the light beams, a known object, that is permitted to access the hazardous area, is detected. The protective device is deactivated in this situation. Securing the hazardous area further includes the provision of a second contactless protective device that is permanently active.

  • Patent number: 7932627
Abstract: An electric steering lock for a drive authorization system in a motor vehicle, including a movable locking element which, according to a first position, can be brought into locking engagement with a latched-in position on the steering shaft in the steering wheel column and, according to a second position, can be brought out of locking engagement with said position. The steering lock also has a drive for moving the locking element between the two positions, and electronics for controlling the drive. The system may have an associated second device in the form of an electronic key, an identification (ID) transmitter, a chip card or the like, with the result that, when the second device is authorized, the drive can be controlled into the respective position by the electronics. The electronics generate those signals which are used to trigger functions which can otherwise be effected by an electric ignition lock.

  • Patent number: 7451740
Abstract: In an adaptation method of an internal combustion engine for optimized combustion, the actually supplied cylinder-specific air masses are determined by determining the change in speed of the internal combustion engine within a thrust phase and by assigning these changes in speed to the cylinder-specific compression phases 20. This enables the fuel quantity to be injected to be more precisely adjusted to the cylinder-specific air mass available.

  • Publication number: 20070251507
Abstract: According to an adaptation method for an injection system of an internal combustion engine, a deceleration phase of the internal combustion engine is initially detected. Within this deceleration phase the injection system activation time is varied more selectively and the combustion energy of the following combustion process is measured. On this basis a minimum injection system activation time is determined for an actually injected minimum quantity of fuel.

  • Patent number: 7023318
Abstract: The invention relates to an electronic lock for a locking system, in particular an electronic ignition lock for a motor vehicle. The lock has a holder into which an associated electronic key can be introduced. The key, which is in the holder, exchanges at least one coded operating signal with the lock. After positively evaluating the operating signal, the holder can be moved into at least one actuating position. The lock has a blocking element which adjusts on introduction of the key into the holder and/or removal of the key from the holder. Movement of the holder is possible when the key is correctly in the holder. Furthermore, the lock has a switching element on which the adjusting movement of the blocking element exerts a switching action via a separate transmitter which can be brought into operative connection both with the blocking element and with the switching element.
