  • Patent number: 10254254
Abstract: Provided is a preparative separation liquid chromatograph system and preparative separation condition searching method which allows for an easy setting of the preparative separation condition. A sample temporally separated into components by a separation column is introduced into a detector and a fraction collector, with each component fractionated and collected by the fraction collector based on the result of a detection by the detector. A controlling and processing unit holds the following data for each sample or compound in the form of a database: chromatogram data obtained when a liquid chromatograph analysis in a preparative separation condition searching mode is performed for various standard samples under a search condition; and chromatogram data obtained when a liquid chromatograph analysis in a preparative separation mode is performed under one or more sets of preparative separation conditions for the various standard samples, along with the preparative separation condition used in this analysis.

  • Patent number: 8086090
Abstract: A multimedia optical disc for recording main video data which is composed of sets of frame data that is processed beforehand to allow compatibility with displays of a plurality of aspect ratios. The disc has a stream area storing streams made up of the main video data and a plurality of sets of sub-picture data, with each set of sub-picture data including a set of tel-op data and a set of coordinate information showing a display position of the set of tel-op data. The disc also includes a control area storing a plurality of pairings of a set of display mode information and a set of sub-picture indicating information. Each set of display mode information shows a species of display method according to which the frame data is to be processed for a case when the frame data decoded from the main video data is displayed at one of the plurality of aspect ratios.

  • Patent number: 7877000
Abstract: A multimedia optical disc on which a variety of types of video titles are recorded and which enables a reproduction apparatus to instantly distinguish whether emulated AV functions may be performed for any of the titles. The multimedia optical disc includes a manager area which stores playback type information corresponding to the management information for each video title, with the playback type information including a first flag showing whether the present video title is expressed using one or a plurality of sets of route information and a second flag showing whether a title is expressed using any branch information.

  • Patent number: 7577340
Abstract: The navigation generator 12 sets the time length of a VOB to a time length that is determined in advance depending on a scheduled recording time H. Even if a user makes an operation to stop the recording before the time length of a recorded part of the VOB equals the predetermined time length, the VOB of the predetermined time length is recorded onto a DVD±R. Cell information specifying the part of the VOB preceding the point corresponding to the recording stop is generated. Then, PGC information containing the Cell information is recorded onto the DVD±R.

  • Publication number: 20090103903
Abstract: A multimedia optical disc is provided. The multimedia optical disc includes a data area and a management information area. The data area stores a plurality pieces of video data. The management information area stores a channel table in which a plurality of logical channel numbers are respectively related to a plurality of physical channel numbers for each piece of video data. A piece of moving picture data and a plurality pieces of sub-data are interleaved in each piece of video data. The sub-data is either of audio data and sub-picture data as still pictures. The logical channel numbers are shared by pieces of video data. The physical channel numbers are used to physically identify the plurality pieces of sub-data. With this construction, it is possible to manage sub-data even when the sub-data is dealt with by a plurality pieces of video data.

  • Patent number: 7245719
Abstract: A recording apparatus records movie content onto a DVD. The movie content is encrypted using a different encryption method depending on whether the DVD is intended for consumer use or industrial use. If the DVD is for consumer use, a VIDEO_TS directory is created on the DVD, and the encrypted movie content is recorded in the VIDEO_TS directory. If the DVD is for industrial use, a VIDEO_TS directory and an EWCPS_TS directory are created on the DVD, and the encrypted movie content and message data are recorded respectively in the EWCPS_TS directory and the VIDEO_TS directory. The message data indicates that the movie content cannot be played back by consumer DVD players.

  • Patent number: 7149414
Abstract: A recordable optical disc stores one or more video objects. A video stream, a first audio stream, and a second audio stream which is used for dubbing are multiplexed into each video object. Also, an optical disc recording apparatus generates the second audio stream by an audio stream generating device, and multiplexes the generated second audio stream into each video object together with the video object and the first audio stream by a multiplexor. The generated video objects are recorded onto the recordable optical disc by a recording device. The optical disc in which such video objects are stored facilitates dubbing.
