  • Patent number: 7312790
Abstract: An input apparatus includes a flat input device of a pressure-sensitive type or a capacitive type, and an indicator sheet on which indication marks are formed is fixed on the surface of the flat input device. A tactile-feel-generating unit is provided behind the flat input device. The tactile-feel-generating unit includes dome-shaped inversion plates which are disposed at positions corresponding to the indication marks. When one of the indication marks is pressed setting an input mode, an operation signal is generated in accordance with an item represented by the indication mark, and a tactile feel is generated by a reaction force of the corresponding inversion plate. When an indication mark is touched, while in an input mode, the control unit recognizes the resulting signal to be a coordinate data signal.

  • Publication number: 20070013175
Abstract: Inflation is sped up of the head-side portion of an occupant restraint belt that passes by the head of an occupant and routed across the front of the occupant, and which is inflatable from the head-side portion disposed on the side of the occupant's head across the front portion disposed at the front of the occupant. A shoulder belt section of an occupant restraint belt has a head-side portion located on the side of the head of an occupant; and a front portion located across the front of the occupant. The shoulder belt section has a structure in which, upon inflation, the head-side portion becomes thicker than the front portion, and the front portion becomes substantially even in thickness in the longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 7029252
Abstract: The outer peripheral surface of a swing piston is formed in a non-circular form. The inner peripheral surface of a cylinder chamber is formed on a basis of an envelope curve of the outer peripheral surface of the swing piston obtained at the time of its swing. The outer peripheral surface of the swing piston and the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder chamber are formed in, e.g., an ovoid shape so that as compared to a rotary compressor in which such inner and outer peripheral surfaces are formed in a circular form, a shorter compression cycle and a longer discharge cycle is obtained during movement of the swing piston. As a result, an overcompression loss when a refrigerant is discharged in a swing compressor is reduced.

  • Patent number: 6939116
Abstract: In a scroll compressor, a sliding direction of a Oldham coupling is defined such that an acting direction of an inertia force of the Oldham coupling is substantially opposite to an acting direction of a reaction force by gas compression, and thereby a range of fluctuation of a total torque of a first rotational torque acting on an orbiting scroll by the reaction force of gas compression and a second rotational torque of sliding movement of the Oldham coupling becomes smaller than that of the first rotational torque to suppress a noise and vibration caused by fluctuation of a rotational torque of the orbiting scroll without any limited designing of an involute shape thereof.

  • Patent number: 6932586
Abstract: An adjusting mechanism (56) is provided to produce an anti-overturning moment to reduce an overturning moment acting on an orbiting scroll (26) during its revolution in a revolving-angle area in which the overturning moment becomes a certain value or more. Accordingly, revolution movement of the orbiting scroll (26) can be made stable by changing a pressing force of the orbiting scroll (26) against the fixed scroll (22) according to fluctuation of the overturning moment due to the revolution of the orbiting scroll (26), thereby improving the compression efficiency of a scroll-type compressor (1).

  • Patent number: 6893235
Abstract: A lubrication path to press-contact surfaces of a fixed and orbiting scrolls serves also as a high-level pressure introduction passageway when a difference between a high-level pressure and a low-level pressure is great. On the other hand, when the high-level pressure introduction passageway is blocked off in a state in which the high-low pressure difference is small, refrigerating machine oil is supplied to the press-contact surfaces through a low-level pressure space within the casing, for controlling the pressing force of the orbiting scroll against the fixed scroll, and the construction for preventing a decrease in efficiency is simplified, thereby not only reducing the cost but also preventing the occurrence of a maloperation.

  • Patent number: 6881046
Abstract: A stationary scroll is provided with a stationary side wrap and an outer peripheral portion. The stationary side wrap is formed into a spiral wall shape. The outer peripheral portion is formed into a ring-like shape enclosing the periphery of the stationary side wrap. A movable scroll is provided with a first flat plate, a movable side wrap, and a second flat plate. The movable side wrap is formed into a spiral wall shape. Additionally, the movable side wrap is caught between the first flat plate and the second flat plate, with the movable side wrap in mating engagement with the stationary side wrap. In the movable side wrap, the first flat plate is formed integrally with the movable side wrap. Additionally, the second flat plate is formed as a separate body from the first flat plate and the movable side wrap and is coupled to the first flat plate with a bolt.
