  • Patent number: 5907031
Abstract: A process is described in which a solution of milk whey protein is reacted with a transglutaminase, heated, and then dried. The resulting milk whey protein composition, and food products containing the resulting milk whey protein composition are also described. The milk whey protein composition has an excellent taste and imparts a smooth and pleasant feel on the palate.

  • Patent number: 5894874
Abstract: A tube or tubeless tire, which can be punctured and still allow a vehicle to continue running, includes a plurality of spherical members formed of foamed rubber or foamed urethane. The spherical members are contained inside an air chamber of the tire and occupy 50% to 80% of the volume of the air chamber of an inflated tire.

  • Patent number: 5518742
Abstract: An enzyme preparation for bound-formed food use which comprises transglutaminase, a casein and an edible surface active agent. The enzyme preparation strongly binds raw food materials, and the resulting bound-formed foods have an excellent taste and savor.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 17, 1995

  • Patent number: 5241478
Abstract: The current ignition delay angle is increased gradually until the delay angle reaches a maximum delay angle stored in a maximum delay angle storage unit when the failure of a traction control unit is detected by a failure detecting member while a switching member is set so as to select the output of a traction control mode ignition angle calculating device. A failure control mode ignition angle calculating device calculates an ignition angle on the basis of the increased delay angle and a standard ignition angle. In case failure occurs in the traction control system during traction control operation, ignition delay angle is increased gradually to reduce the running speed of the vehicle gradually regardless of the opening of the throttle valve. Accordingly, the vehicle is not subjected to shocks attributable to the change of control mode when failure occurs in the traction control system.
