  • Publication number: 20120021830
Abstract: To provide a game device capable of allowing a user, when selecting any selected image candidate, to experience a real feeling of the relationship with another selected image candidate. A determination unit (70a) determines whether or not the designated area designated by a user is included in the determination area for a selected image candidate. When the designated area is included in the determination area, the designation unit (72a) designates the selected image candidate corresponding to the determination area as a selected image. A determination area control unit (68) changes the size of a determination area for another selection candidate image, based on a parameter stored so as to be correlated to a combination of the selected image candidate designated as a selected image and the other selected image candidate.

  • Publication number: 20110172315
Abstract: A composition for cryopreservation of cells and tissues of human and other animals in a safe manner without using toxic substances such as DMSO, as well as for freeze preserving or freeze-drying of foods and pharmaceuticals. In examples, ?-poly-L-lysine is reacted with succinic anhydride so that 60% or more of amino groups are blocked; and, thus obtained polymer compound is added to Dulbecco-modified eagle MEM culture medium (DMEM) on market sale to form a cryopreservation liquid. In examples for foods or pharmaceuticals, the ?-poly-L-lysine derivative was added by 0.5-10 wt % to curb freeze concentration.

  • Publication number: 20100292008
Abstract: In a game device (200), a memory unit (201) stores a position of a player character, a position of an enemy character, an elapsed time up to a present time after the enemy character has appeared, and candidates of a position where a new enemy character is to appear. A measuring unit (202) measures an elapsed time up to a present time after the enemy character has appeared, and stores the measured elapsed time in the memory unit (201). A calculating unit (203) calculates a reference distance which becomes a determination criterion for a position where a new enemy character appears based on the stored elapsed time. The reference distance monotonically increases relative to the increasing of the elapsed time. An appearance setting unit (204) selects a candidate having a distance to the player character closest to the reference distance among the candidates stored in the memory unit (201), and causes a new enemy character to appear at the selected candidate position.

  • Publication number: 20080145440
Abstract: According to the present invention, an early-phase release amount of cisplatin (CCDP) is reduced and a release of cisplatin is maintained over a long period of time, such that an anticancer effect against cancer cells is enhanced while side effects are reduced. In this manner, a life prolongation effect for patients is enhanced. A microparticle preparation contains cisplatin that is intercalated into double-helical DNA. The microparticle preparation stably retains cisplatin and exhibits an excellent slow-release property. Accordingly, even when cisplatin containing severe toxicity is used, the side effects can be suppressed and an excellent anticancer effect can be provided over a long period of time.

  • Patent number: 7323211
Abstract: It is to provide an implant with shock-absorbing property that is able to be strongly secured in a living body as well as a manufacturing method of such implant. The implant comprising: a substrate; a first film on the substrate, which is comprised of a polymer and has a functional group that enables adsorption of calcium ions; and a second film formed on the first film and being comprised of calcium phosphate. The manufacturing method of the implant comprising: forming said first film on a substrate; and subsequently, dipping the substrate in a calcium ion solution and in a phosphate ion solution alternately as to form the second film.

  • Publication number: 20070259327
Abstract: A cryopreservation medium and a cryopreservation method which make it possible to cryopreserve tissues and cells with high viability are provided. A cryopreservation medium contains polyphenol at a concentration of from 30 to 120 ppm. In an embodiment, a cryopreservation method for tissues and cells comprises: incubating tissues or cells for 2 hours in culture medium supplemented with polyphenol at concentrations of from 30 to 120 ppm; suspending tissues or cells in a cryopreservation medium; freezing the suspension of the tissues or cells in the cryopreservation medium; and storing the frozen suspension of tissues or cells in the cryopreservation medium.

  • Publication number: 20070259329
Abstract: The invention is directed to an anergy-inducing cellular composition comprising: cells having antigenic determinants on the cell surface and an anergy-inducing compound [e.g., (?)-epigallocatechin-3-o-gallate (EGCG)] attached by its chemical affinity to the antigenic determinants. In one embodiment, the anergy-inducing compound blocks co-stimulatory molecules among the antigenic determinants of the cells, which upon encountering with T-cell renders the latter anergic, that is, unresponsive toward alloantigens. In another embodiment, EGCG is of high purity for its efficient attachment to the antigenic determinants. The anergy-inducing cellular composition is prepared by immersing the cells in a culture media solution (RPMI 1640) containing 50-500 ppm EGCG at low physiological temperatures for one to two hours to minimize the cells' mortality.

  • Patent number: 4486817
Abstract: A method of manufacturing an electrical circuit wiring assembly comprises the steps of preparing a first sub-assembly having a metal board chassis and a first circuit element provided with hard stiff leads, preparing a second sub-assembly having a second circuit element provided with soft thin leads and an eyelet terminal for connecting the soft thin lead to the hard lead by means of a soldered junction, and assembling the first and second sub-assemblies by a soldering operating to form a main wiring assembly. In the second sub-assembly the second circuit element and the eyelet terminal are carried temporarily on an unsolderable mounting tool. The first and second sub-assemblies are temporarily coupled to each other during the forming of the main assembly by means of a coupling tool or jig for applying molten solder to an exposed connecting portion of the eyelet terminal and to portions of the hard and soft leads extending from the eyelet terminal.
