A spatial orientation information input section inputs the spatial orientation information of the object and/or the previously decided marker. A relevant information setting section sets a method of displaying the predetermined relevant information. A spatial orientation information display section displays the spatial orientation information of the object and/or the previously decided marker input, and displays the predetermined relevant information in accordance with the displaying method. A data output section outputs data describing display setting of the display by the spatial orientation information display section.

Abstract: To shorten the time of a test for detecting deteriorated capacitors, a semiconductor memory device having a 2T2C type memory cell structure is designed in such a way that a voltage VBL of a bit line pair which determines a voltage to be applied to ferroelectric memory cells and a voltage VPL of plate lines are so set as to satisfy a relationship of VBL=VPL<VDD where VDD is a supply voltage. This makes the size of the hysteresis loop of the ferroelectric capacitors smaller than that in case of VBL=VPL=VDD, a potential difference ?V between data “0” and data “1” can be made smaller than an operational margin of a sense amplifier. This makes it possible to detect a deteriorated ferroelectric capacitor without conducting a cycling test.

Abstract: A novel selenocysteine-containing protein is provided which is a substantial entity having an enzymatic activity, typically an activity to reduce peroxide phospholipids. There are provided a gene consisting of a coding sequence for a protein not containing selenocysteine in which the codon for selenocysteine is introduced at a desired position and a selenocysteine insertion sequence resided at the 3?-end of said coding sequence and a protein expressed therefrom, typically a selenocysteine-containing protein having an activity to reduce peroxide phospholipids which is prepared by introducing selenocysteine into albumin and as well as a gene encoding said protein. A novel anti-oxidative substance is provided which can be applied for prevention of worsening, prophylaxis or treatment of various diseases associated with oxidative stress.

Abstract: A semiconductor memory device of the invention has a first reference cell connected to a first bit line and a first word line to be controlled; a second reference cell connected to the first bit line and a second word line to be controlled; a third reference cell connected to a second bit line and the first word line to be controlled; a fourth reference cell connected to the second bit line and the second word line to be controlled; and a word line select circuit connected to the first and second word lines for selecting the reference potential to be generated in the first bit line and the second bit line by selecting the first word line or second word line. Accordingly, the influence upon a semiconductor memory device in the yields of the reference cells is reduced in a semiconductor memory device using a ferroelectric capacitor, and a more highly reliable semiconductor memory device is to be provided.

Abstract: Internal domain 3 of seven transmembrane G protein-coupled receptors is important for G protein binding or receptor activity, and is well conserved. In H3 receptors, which are a type of G protein-coupled receptor, this region is also conserved in the same way. Therefore, as a result of using PCR to introduce point mutations into sequences encoding the region in H3 receptor cDNA, H3 receptor mutants comprising extremely strong constitutive activity could be successfully produced. The present inventors further found that by using constitutively active H3 receptor mutants, drug candidate compounds such as H3 receptor inverse agonists can be screened more easily and efficiently.

A first number of rectangles contained in each field of an original image of the pattern is calculated by dividing the field of the original image into one or plurality of rectangles. A second number of rectangles contained in each field of an inverted image of the pattern is calculated by dividing the field of the inverted image into one or plurality of rectangles. One of pattern data of the original image and pattern data of the inverted image which has a smaller number of rectangles is selected by comparing the first number of the rectangles in the original image with the second number of the rectangles in the inverted image. The pattern data selected for each field are stored in a recording medium.

Abstract: Memory cell units 111, each having ferroelectric memory cells in one row by a plurality of columns, are arrayed in a matrix. Plate lines are provided for each of the units 111. PLE control circuits output plate enable signals PLE. When one of the units 111 is selected, the signal PLE is supplied to all the plate lines in the corresponding row and all the plate lines in the other rows are grounded. The plate enable signal in the column including the selected unit 111 is at high level and the plate enable signals in the other columns are at low level. Inverse light intensity distribution simulation having reversibility to the light intensity distribution simulation is performed using the difference, to obtain difference pattern data determining a defect in the inspection object pattern.
