  • Patent number: 6273624
Abstract: A cam 37 is rotated in an arrow F direction. This causes sheet conveyance rollers 10a, 10b and guide elements 33, 34 to rotate on a lower conveyance shaft 27 and an upper conveyance shaft 30, respectively, so that they are separated from a drive roller 12. Thus, a spur plate 21 faces the upward stream end with respect to the recording sheet conveyance direction and opens in synchronism with the sheet conveyance rollers 10a and 10b, etc. Accordingly, it is possible to readily remove a recording sheet subjected to the jam.

  • Patent number: 6250624
Abstract: An extension guide unit 30 is provided on a side portion of a recording medium conveying passage. An extension guide 36 is held in a wound state in an extension guide holder 31 of the extension guide unit 30. In order to convey a recording medium, the extension guide 36 is drawn out, by which the recording medium is guided. This enables the recording medium to be smoothly conveyed.

  • Patent number: 6161973
Abstract: A first position control member, which presses a recording sheet between a sheet conveyance roller 28c and an image forming area, is disposed and a second position control member, which presses the recording sheet between the image forming area and a spur 42, is disposed. Thus, of the recording sheet in the course of conveyance, a portion located at the image forming area is pressed and stretched by the first position control member 34 and the second position control member 38, and an interval between this portion and an ink ejection surface is maintained at a predetermined distance. Accordingly, even if ink ejected from the ink ejection outlets is absorbed into the recording sheet, so that a fiber of the recording sheet expands, no unevenness is formed on the recording sheet. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the cocking.

  • Patent number: 4637238
Abstract: A folding key for vehicles, in which a key body is pivotally mounted in a dished cap so as to be capable of pivoting with respect to the cap. The key body has a pivot portion which is directly supported by a bearing bore formed in the cap, or which is clamped and supported between a first bearing portion provided in a bottom surface of a recess in the cap and a second bearing portion provided in a support member fitted in the recess in the cap. In the latter case, a resilient tongue is resiliently engaged with an inward end of the key body to retain the same. The cap has formed therein a cut-out with which the key body is engaged upon ultimate levelling of the key body. Preferably, the cut-out is formed in a portion of a peripheral edge of the cap, which is located at a rear of the peripheral edge with reference to an advance direction of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4506639
Abstract: Engine operating parameters are detected to see whether the engine is in idle state or not. Then the speed of the engine is detected to determine whether engine speed is varying or not. To this end, a plurality of engine speed data are averaged to find an average engine speed which will be used as a reference value for the comparison with respect to a latest instantaneous engine speed. Ignition timing is either retarded or advanced for maintaining the engine speed at a desired value in such a manner that the amount of correction of the ignition timing is determined by deriving data from a memory in which relationship between the engine speed variation and ignition timing correction amount is stored in the form of a map. In the case that the average engine speed is far deviated from a setting engine speed, the average value is not used as the reference value, but rather the setting speed is used to find the difference.
