Abstract: In this invention, a function is added to a digital copying machine or a function of the digital copying machine is changed from a remote terminal by using a window image displayed on an operation unit of the digital copying machine. This allows an operator of the remote terminal to check the arrangement and shapes of actual operation buttons by which functions are displayed on the operation unit. It is possible to avoid choosing a wrong icon for assigning or changing a function and present changes of functions readily understandable by an operator.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus having a receipt interface I/F, a hard disk, and a printer section. The receipt interface I/F receives pages of image data transmitted and a partial print request signal requesting that only a part of the image data be printed, both transmitted through a communication line. The hard disk stores both the image data and the partial print request signal. The printer section prints a part of the image data stored in the hard disk, in response to the partial print request signal that the receipt interface I/F has received.

Abstract: A correction support system enabling transmitting and receiving of a handwritten answer from a student, support for a corrector, and transmitting to and receiving by the student of a correction result is provided. The correction support system 1 has a student apparatus 10, a server 20 connected to the student apparatus by communication lines 41 and 42, and a corrector apparatus 30 connected to the server by a communication line 43. In this case, the server separates the handwritten answers transmitted by the student question by question, gathers together the answers of a large number of students question by question, attaches information that is useful for correction such as the answer history for each of the students, and configures it into a format suitable for correction, and transmits it to the corrector apparatus. After correction is completed, the correction result form data are transmitted from the corrector apparatus to the server.

Abstract: In this invention, a digital copying machine to be connected to a network feeds originals in each document unit for each sheet by use of an ADF to read the images of the originals and prints the read images in each document unit for each page in a printing form selected by the user. Therefore, a plurality of original images read in each document unit can be effectively confirmed in accordance with the purpose of the user on the spot where the reading operation is effected. Further, the actual concentration can be adjusted while observing reduced images on the confirmation sheet and inputting of an actual image and inputting for correction can be easily attained.
