  • Patent number: 7295583
Abstract: After forming domain inverted layers 3 in an LiTaO3 substrate 1, an optical waveguide is formed. By performing low-temperature annealing for the optical wavelength conversion element thus formed, a stable proton exchange layer 8 is formed, where an increase in refractive index generated during high-temperature annealing is lowered, thereby providing a stable optical wavelength conversion element. Thus, the phase-matched wavelength becomes constant, and variation in harmonic wave output is eliminated. Consequently, with respect to an optical wavelength conversion element utilizing a nonlinear optical effect, a highly reliable element is provided.

  • Publication number: 20070252918
Abstract: A 2D image display apparatus using a laser light source. By controlling the timing of a scan by a beam scan portion in response to the characteristic of a laser light source and by setting a light emitting time of the laser light source to an integral multiple of a scan cycle of the beam scan portion, it is possible to illuminate a spatial light modulator homogeneously with a laser beam. It is thus possible to display an image at high accuracy without causing a bright line, irregularities in brightness, and contrast deterioration.

  • Publication number: 20070252314
Abstract: An upper bush is secured to a bracket of a compressor unit, and a lower bush is abutted against a panel member of a vehicle body through a washer. A coil spring is interposed between the upper and lower bushes. A pipe member is inserted through the upper and lower bushes and the coil spring. A bolt is inserted through the pipe member and screwed into the panel member of the vehicle body. The compressor unit is resiliently supported floatingly by the coil spring. Vibration of the compressor unit is damped by friction generated by sliding contact between the pipe member and raised portions of the upper bush. When the vibration amplitude is large, respective projections of the upper and lower bushes abut against each other to suppress the vibration while absorbing impact.
