  • Patent number: 7020883
Abstract: A disk loading mechanism has a turntable. A turntable 36 itself is fixed in external dimensions of a brushless spindle motor, and a chucking face relevant to a disk 11 is precisely placed on a turntable base 46 with a predetermined height. On the turntable base 46, columns 47 are embedded in three directions on a circumference which surrounds the outer periphery of the turntable 36. A column tip end stepped portion 47b and a disk placement face 36a of the turntable 36 are precisely constructed in predetermined dimensions. When the column tip end stepped portion 47b abuts against a bottom face (a reference face L) of a drive board 15, a relative position between the disk placement face 36a of the turntable 36 and a pickup constructed while the bottom face of the drive board 15 is defined as a reference is precisely determined.

  • Patent number: 6826765
Abstract: A disk player compatible with two types of large and small diameter disks is provided. A startup arm 20 is transversely moved by a selection arm 50 turned by abutment of a side edge of a large diameter disk 14b. Then, the startup arm 20 turning together with a shift bar 17 moved to be pushed at the front edge of the disk 14b is longitudinally moved. A cam follower pin 25 is engagingly locked with a pocket 53c by a spring 24, and the startup arm 20 is constrained in cooperation with a swivel shaft 22, whereby the shift bar 17 is restricted, and the center of the large diameter disk is positioned. The small diameter disk 14a restricts the shift bar 17 by the startup arm 20 by which the cam follower pin 25 is engagingly locked with the pocket 43c by the spring 24 irrespective of the selection arm 50. The center of the small diameter disk is positioned at the same central position as that of the large diameter disk.

  • Patent number: 6560171
Abstract: A disk changer device is provided which is capable of maintaining continuity of control, small, and simple, by means of perpetually maintaining a 1-to-1 correspondence relation between the direction of rotation of the driving source and the direction of operation of the disk holding member. A loading unit 40 comprises a transporting plate 43 for transporting disk holding members 11, a chucking plate 44 for driving a drive plate 72 and clamp arm 73, a driving block 45, and so forth. The driving block 45 is provided with a loading pinion 50 which rotates according to the output of a loading motor 47. While the transporting plate 43 makes one reciprocal movement to perform extracting returning operation of the disk holding member 11 by certain rotation control of the loading pinion 50, via the rack 43a, the loading gear 54 is rotated 180° and the chucking plate 44 is driven on the going path or the returning path to perform chucking operation or chucking disengagement operation.

  • Patent number: 5555239
Abstract: A reduction in the size of a CD player is achieved by making the transfer roller horizontally displaceable between a first position, adjacent the disk storage magazine, and a second position, adjacent the turntable. The roller is displaced to the first position while a disk is being played. Further size reduction is achieved by making the turntable horizontally displaceable between a first position, remote from the storage magazine, and a second position, closer thereto. The turntable is in the second position while a disk is being played.

  • Patent number: 5195077
Abstract: A disc loading structure capable of automatically and positively loading a disc in a disc apparatus with a simple structure irrespective of the size of the disc and carrying out a substantial decrease in power consumption in use and manufacturing costs. A mechanical sensor link is pivotally arranged so as to be pivotally moved due to engagement with a disc and a lock member is pivotally arranged and selectively engaged with the sensor link so as to be pivotally movable in association with the pivotal movement thereof. The lock member selectively serves to lock a stopper arm at a small-diameter disc position depending upon the position of the sensor link pivotally moved. Also, the structure includes a large-diameter disc regulator for holding the stopper arm at a large-diameter disc position.

  • Patent number: 5150349
Abstract: A disc loading structure capable of safely and effectively carrying out a disc loading operation free from mistake. The disc loading structure includes a sensor group consisting of a plurality of disc detecting sensors each selectively exhibiting a detection mode and non-detection mode. The sensor group is arranged so as to permit the disc loading structure to properly accomplish the disc loading operation such as detection and ejection of any foreign article inserted therein, discrimination and loading of each of discs different in size and the like, depending upon a pattern of combination of the detection and/or non-detection modes of the sensors.
