  • Publication number: 20070170246
Abstract: A program product for causing a computer to function as a terminal for processing an electronic money card is prepared and distributed to a member store. The member store installs it in the computer and uses as a member store terminal. The computer for installation may be a general-purpose computer, such as a personal computer, for example, capable of substantially reducing burdens of terminal installation on the member store side and of terminal management on the electronic money center side. The terminal application is configured so that the hardware information of the predetermined hardware provided in the computer for installation may be collected and stored at the time of installation. The terminal application then acquires the hardware information from this hardware at the time of starting of the member store terminal to compare it with the hardware information stored at the time of installation.
