  • Patent number: 5335527
Abstract: A two wheel type continuous extrusion apparatus has two rotary wheels having grooves receiving covering material rods, a fixed shoe block arranged therebetween and an abutement receiving a core metal wire. Covering material inlet apertures are provided for communicating passage-ways receiving the covering material rods to a covering chamber for extruding the covering material on the core metal wire to manufacture a composite metal wire. The covering material inlet apertures are inclined relative to a line connecting rotary axes of the rotary wheels such that the covering chamber is positioned on the side of supplying of the covering material rods relative to the connecting line. Consequently, a constraining force for constraining a shoe block becomes small.

  • Patent number: 5206771
Abstract: A tape drive mechanism for a video tape recorder and an audio tape recorder. The tape drive mechanism automatically corrects the position of tape in the width-wise direction thereof without mechanically restricting the edge of tape. Sensors (8) and (8) on a tape path detect a dislocation of the tape (7) from a reference running position that may develop in the width-wise direction of the tape (7), a tape guide post (1) for attracting the tape (7) is moved in the width-wise direction of the tape, or inclination of a tape guide post (41) is changed to move the tape (7) in such width-wise direction by means of actuators (2), (42) and (62) that give corresponding displacement based on the values detected by the sensors (8) and (8), or the reel plate (57) is moved in the direction of width of tape to move the tape (7) together with the reel (24). The tape (7) having a small thickness is prevented against vertical movement on the tape path and is permitted to run stably without damaging the edges of the tape.

  • Patent number: 4648828
Abstract: Disclosed is a machine for forming viscous fluid crude material such as dough or fish-paste into a ring shape or the like. The machine has a cutter device provided with a vertical passage and cutter means arranged at the lower opening of the passage. The crude material is forcely introduced into the passage through its upper opening and extruded from its lower opening. The extruded crude material is cut off by means of the cutter means. Moreover, the passage is partitioned at least in its upper portion into a plurality of sector-shaped sections by means of a separator. • Patent number: 4619598
Abstract: Disclosed is a dough forming device comprising a dough tank, an extrusion member, a cutting member and a separator. The tank has a dough guiding hole with a lower end opening. The extrusion member is moved from the interior of the tank into the guiding hole in order to extrude the dough from the tank through the lower end opening, the extruded dough being expanded radially along the upper surface of the cutting member positioned below the lower end opening. Thereafter, the cutting member is moved to a position in which it is engaged with the lower end opening, so that the expanded dough is cut into an annular body by means of the cutting member. The tank is divided into sector-shaped sections by means of the separator. In case of the sections being filled with doughs of different colors and/or tastes, the expanded and cut body is composed of zones of different colors and/or tastes.
