  • Patent number: 6933050
Abstract: The present invention features phosphorus containing epoxy resin compositions useful for imparting flame retardant properties to prepregs, resin-clad metal foils, and laminate boards constructed therefrom. The phosphorus containing epoxy resin composition (a) comprises a phosphorus containing epoxy resin (A) and a hardener. The phosphorus containing epoxy resin (A) has an epoxy equivalent of 300-500 g/eq. and comprises the reaction product of a phosphorus containing organic compound (B) and at least one epoxy resin (C). Phosphorus containing compound (B) is the reaction product of organic phosphorus compounds (b) having one active hydrogen atom bonded to a phosphorus atom and a quinone compound, wherein the molar ratio of (b) to quinone is from 1.25:1 to 2:1. This molar excess of (b) yields a phosphorus containing compound (B) that comprises both the reaction product of (b) and quinone, as well as un-reacted (b).

  • Publication number: 20030010258
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide a construction and coating composition that effectively utilizes vermiculite as a natural resource and is able to satisfy requirements for humidity control and/or deodorizing as well as an attractive appearance, while also offering superior balance between the amount and rates of moisture absorption and release, in particular. This object is achieved by a composition in which non-expanded vermiculite is blended into a base material so that the blended amount is 5-70 wt % of the total composition (solid portion). In addition, the above construction material can be converted into soil by crushing when it has become a waste construction material.

  • Patent number: 6023707
Abstract: A system is provided for duplication of an update database in a computer using partial data extraction. A copying module creates a copy database, including a partial copy, of the update database. A journal selecting module selects data, related to parts of the copy database in which the copy has finished, from an update data journal of the update database that is made when the copy database is being copied by the copying module. A duplication module updates the contents of the copy database created by the copying module with the contents of the update data journal selected by the journal selecting module.

  • Patent number: 4572641
Abstract: A thin vertically disposed camera adapted for use with a disk type film contained cartridge includes latch device for catching a compartment door at its closed position and rotatably supported connecting member to be connected to a cover member of the cartridge loaded in the camera for moving the cover member between an exposure window opening position and an exposure window closing position. The latch device includes a manually operable portion movable between a locking position for enabling the latch device to catch the compartment door and a releasing position for disabling the latch device. The rotation of the manually operable member from its releasing to locking position is same in the direction as the rotation of the connecting member for moving the cover member from its exposure window closing position to the exposure window opening position. A motion transmitting mechanism is provided in the camera for transmitting the rotation of said manually operable member to the connecting member.
