  • Patent number: 7551152
Abstract: In a pixel circuit formed by using a MOS process, a constant current is applied from a second transistor (T2) as a constant current source to an organic EL device coupled to a third transistor (T3) so that the organic EL device emits light, during the period when the third transistor (T3) is in the conductive state. The third transistor (T3) is switched on and off based on its gate voltage dependent upon a signal value written to a capacitor (Cs) and a ramp signal voltage (Vcs). Thus, the organic EL device emits light during the period dependent upon the signal value. That is, displaying operation is implemented with gray-scale being controlled according to a video signal value.

  • Patent number: 7545350
Abstract: An organic electroluminescent display device includes scanning lines, signal lines, and pixels formed in a matrix, each pixel being at an intersection of each of the scanning lines and each of the signal lines. Each pixel includes a light-emitting element, a light-emitting circuit composed of a thin-film transistor, and a light-receiving circuit composed of a thin-film transistor. When the light-emitting circuit is selected by the scanning line, the light-emitting circuit drives the light-emitting element according to a video signal that is input from the signal line, thereby displaying an image on the pixels formed in the matrix. The light-receiving circuit is selected in a period of time during which the light-emitting circuit does not operate, and outputs a light-receiving signal in accordance with the amount of light incident on the pixel to a different signal line.

  • Patent number: 7477225
Abstract: Current consumption in a start signal outputting circuit, and that in a clock signal conductor thereto, or the EMI is to be suppressed. An output from the last stage flipflop of a shift register, having multiple stages of flipflops, is supplied to a start signal outputting circuit. An output of the start signal outputting circuit is delivered as a start signal, while being delivered to a start signal output detection circuit. A detection signal from a start signal output detection circuit and an output of a non-last stage flipflop of the shift register are supplied to a clock stop circuit. Clock signals cease to be supplied by the clock stop circuit during a time period as from inputting of the detection signal until inputting of the output of the non-last stage flip-flop.

  • Publication number: 20090012692
Abstract: A motorcycle includes a carburetor, an electronically controlled opening/closing valve that opens and closes an intake passage, an ECU that controls the opening/closing valve, a main switch, an engine start switch and a rotation speed sensor. The ECU causes the opening/closing valve to perform a determined initial operation if a determined condition is satisfied when the main switch is turned on. If the determined condition is not satisfied when the main switch is turned on, the determined initial operation is performed when the rotation speed of the engine has reached a determined rotation speed range after the engine has been started. To ensure that an initial operation of an opening/closing valve that opens and closes an intake passage is performed with a high degree of reliability.

  • Publication number: 20090012697
Abstract: A motorcycle includes a fuel supply device that supplies fuel to an intake passage, an ECU that controls an opening/closing valve that opens and closes the intake passage, an exhaust gas passage, a catalyst disposed inside the exhaust gas passage, and a switch of an engine. When the engine rotation speed is equal to or more than a determined rotation speed when the switch is turned off, the opening/closing valve is switched on to close the intake passage. When the engine rotation speed is less than the determined rotation speed, the opening/closing valve is switched off to open the intake passage. Thermal degradation of a catalyst is thereby inhibited and electric power consumption is reduced when an engine is turned off.

  • Patent number: 7364155
Abstract: In a standby state wherein a document is set in a document tray and can be supplied when needed, when a start signal is not inputted (S21: NO), a controller determines whether a document regulating plate has been operated or not based on a detection output of a document size detector for detecting a position of the document regulating plate (S31), and when the document regulating plate was operated (S31: YES), the controller lowers the document tray by a predetermined amount and stops it (S32). A lowered amount of the document tray can be arbitrarily set by a user through an operator control panel. With a sheet feeding apparatus, an image reading apparatus and an image forming apparatus constituted as described above, even in a state in which the document is set in the document tray, the set state can be easily canceled by operating the document regulating plate.

  • Publication number: 20080098007
Abstract: The distributed traceability management system includes a management data creation unit and a data storage unit. When the final products are produced, final management data is transmitted to the downstream side vendor. When the final management data is received from an upstream side vendor, the final management data is stored in the data storage unit. When it is judged that the same final management data as that stored in a system's data storage unit is stored in the data storage unit of a communication party vendor through communication with the communication party vendor, it is confirmed that the communication party vendor is an upstream side vendor or a downstream side vendor to which the final products are to be distributed. Tracing of products in a sequence of processes is executed based on each f pieces of management data created by the management data creation unit.
