  • Publication number: 20050241769
Abstract: A plane parallel plasma processing apparatus includes an impedance adjustment unit having a capacitive component, which is disposed between a lower electrode and a processing chamber. The impedance adjustment unit adjusts the value of the impedance over the path extending from an upper electrode to a grounded casing of a matching circuit via plasma, the lower electrode and the wall of the processing chamber to a level lower than the value of the impedance over the path extending from the upper electrode to the grounded casing of the matching circuit via the plasma and the wall of the processing chamber, and thus, highly uniform plasma can be generated by minimizing the generation of plasma in the space between the cathode electrode and the processing chamber wall.

  • Publication number: 20050243461
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention prevent a spindle motor from stopping rotation while data on a magnetic disk is being erased by using a permanent magnet. In one embodiment, data in the whole area of the magnetic disk is erased as a consequence of the magnetic disk rotating in the magnetic field of the permanent magnet located so as to face a part of the magnetic disk. A back yoke is located so as to face a base. The back yoke gives a magnetic force to the spindle motor in the opposite direction of the magnetic force of the erasing permanent magnet so that the fluid dynamic bearing spindle motor can retain the rotation as required without stopping rotation.

  • Patent number: 6889365
Abstract: The terminal operation apparatus of the present invention is used for an electronic conference and the like, in which an operated terminal having a shared screen is remotely operated through a network, the amount of information flowing through the network is adjusted, and continuity of an operation between the operated terminal and the operating terminal is kept, whereby operability is enhanced. Timers 72 and 73 or a point information detection counter 74 are used to transmit detailed point information with a decreased thinning ratio to the operated terminal for a predetermined period of time after the point information is inputted. A thinning ratio is set in accordance with a pointer movement speed and priorities (the order of connection, a CPU use ratio, whether or not an operation authority is obtained, etc.) among operators.

  • Publication number: 20040143623
Abstract: A mediation device includes a search portion, a mediation portion, a sending portion and a management database. The search portion searches in the management database the web services to which search conditions entered by a client apply. The mediation portion receives a selection of web services extracted based on the search conditions, and requests execution of the selected web services from web service servers. The management database stores search results and selection results of the web services. The sending portion sends result data including the search results and selection results of the web services to the web service servers. Thus, the value of providing the web services can be increased by allowing the monitoring of user behavior.

  • Publication number: 20040089756
Abstract: A tape reel in which molding quality of a flange unit is improved so as to improve reliability at the time when a magnetic tape runs at high speed, and a tape cartridge having the same. A plurality of reference planes (152v) formed between a chucking gear (152b) and an outer peripheral rib (152r2) formed at an outer peripheral side of this chucking gear (152b) are provided separately from the outer peripheral rib (152r2). And the reference plane (152v) is formed with edge planes of each of a first rib (152v1) extending toward a circumference and a second rib (152v2) extending toward a direction crossing the first rib (152v1). According to this arrangement, a volume at a portion constituting the reference plane (152v) is made smaller, occurrence of a sink after a resin is hardened is suppressed, and molding quality of the flange unit (152) is improved so that straight runnability of the magnetic tape at high speed running and reliability in recording/reproducing operation are improved.
