  • Patent number: 8510572
Abstract: Disclosed is a secure remote access system for improving convenience of a user by utilizing a storage device including an anti-tampering device as a user authentication device in the secure remote access system for making access and execution of job while a user is making the encrypted communication to a server from an unspecified client. Usability can be improved and thereby the job executing function can be used smoothly at the internal and external sides of the working office by providing a server client system where the server can be manipulated remotely by distributing a storage device loading the authorized anti-tampering device to users, connecting the storage device to unspecified clients by users, and using the authentication information and application stored in the storage device. A remote access system having improved security and convenient during usage of client from the user can also be provided by reducing the secret information remaining in the manipulated client.

  • Publication number: 20120276403
Abstract: To provide a heat sink material that not only is excellent in heat sink properties, but also allows molded articles of various shapes made of a variety of materials to be used as a base substrate of the heat sink material. The heat sink material is also excellent in durability when in use as a heat sink material and can be thinned, and can be conveniently utilized for semiconductor devices, particularly for cell phones, personal computers and the like. The heat sink material includes a composite electroplated film having a plated metal film as a matrix wherein diamond particles are co-deposited in the matrix in such a way that a co-deposition amount of the particles gradually changes in a thickness direction of the plated metal film.

  • Publication number: 20080109549
Abstract: The service provider stores a program to use a service and license information in a memory card including an IC card chip, a flash memory, and an interface controller. According to the license information, the user can select a specification of a server PC on the service provider side and uses a server PC, which is maintained by the service provider, by use of the memory card through remote operation. Also, when the user reports the loss of the memory card to the service provider, a managing server on the service provider side sends a card function inactivation command to the memory card to prevent its false use.

  • Publication number: 20070220120
Abstract: A computer system can always execute processing under the same environments not depending on the terminal device that is directly used by the user, no matter where the client used by the user is, and no matter what device is used. In the computer system, one of plural computer PCBAs that do not install a hard disk device therein is selected from the terminal device, remotely controllable environments are constituted, and data is read and written from the hard disk device which are coupled to all of the computer PCBAs over a network that is used by the user.

  • Publication number: 20070107041
Abstract: An information processor, which controls an incident response device to perform an incident response toward a communication device, realizes the following functions: detecting an incident occurrence in the communication device; storing response information which is information indicative of the incident response that the incident response unit should perform, and target information which is information to identify the communication device, with corresponding policy information regarding a response policy to an incident; outputting a list of the policy information when the incident occurrence is detected; receiving a selection of the policy information; retrieving the response information and the target information corresponding to the selected policy information, from the memory; and sending the incident response unit a command to perform the incident response based on the retrieved response information toward the communication device identified based on the retrieved target information.
