  • Publication number: 20020023508
Abstract: A ⅛ model is obtained at the steps of (A1) assuming a small cube, (A2) dividing the small cube into meshes, thereby obtaining a nodal point, (A3) projecting the nodal point included in each of three surfaces of the small cube which is not coincident with three planes of a ⅛ sphere onto a spherical surface of a small ⅛ sphere, thereby obtaining a new nodal point, (A4) dividing a space between the spherical surface of the small ⅛ sphere and that of the ⅛ sphere through spherical surfaces of a plurality of intermediate ⅛ spheres setting origins to be centers thereof, and (A5) sequentially repeating an operation for projecting a nodal point present on an inner spherical surface onto a spherical surface adjacent to an outside thereof from the small ⅛ sphere to the ⅛ sphere through the intermediate ⅛ spheres. The ⅛ model is expanded to obtain a finite element golf ball model.

  • Publication number: 20020005903
Abstract: An imaging system capable of easily and reliably adjusting the functions provided in the camera device and preventing mistaken adjustment of these functions. At a step S255, a specified parameter of a definition file or a user file is deleted or changed in values. A CPU judges whether or not an effective key is pressed. If the key is found to be pressed, the CPU proceeds to a step S256 and, if otherwise, the CPU dwells at a step S255. At a step S256, the CPU reads out image data of a parameter setting window from a disc drive based on the selected parameter or the definition file prevailing at a time point of pressing of the effective key. The CPU writes image data of the parameter setting window in a VRAM and causes a display image corresponding to the image data to be displayed on a display.

  • Patent number: 5999213
Abstract: An apparatus for setting up an electronic device has a memory for storing parameter setting image data for establishing one or more parameters with respect to a controlled device, the parameter setting image including parameter changing switch image data and setting state display image data, a display unit for displaying a parameter setting image based on the parameter setting image data read from the memory, an input unit for entering input information indicating changes in display states of a parameter changing switch image data and a setting state display image which are displayed by the display unit and a parameter to be established, and a controller for changing the display states of the parameter changing switch image data an the setting state display image which are displayed by the display unit and the parameter to be established, based on the input information entered by the input unit, and transmitting changed parameter data or a change in the parameter to the controlled device.

  • Patent number: 5255081
Abstract: In a color television camera apparatus, a 2fs-rate luminance signal and fs-rate chrominance signals are selectively generated by a matrix circuit 8, in conformity with a plurality of standard systems, from 2fs-rate three-color image pick-up signals generated by an image signal pick-up unit. The fs-rate chrominance signals are modulated by a modulating circuit 12 into fs-rate modulated chrominance signals which are converted by a rate converter 13 into 2fs-rate modulated chrominance signals. The 2fs-rate luminance signals and the 2fs-rate modulated chrominance signals are combined by an adder 14 into 2fs-rate digital composite video signals which are converted by a D/A converter 15 into analog composite video signals. In this manner, analog composite video signals, in which the bandwidth of the luminance signals has been enhanced up to the sampling frequency fs, may be selectively outputted in conformity with a plurality of standard systems.

  • Patent number: 5216496
Abstract: Digital color television camera apparatus including an encoder for selectively producing either a digital component video signal or a digital composite video signal in accordance with first or second television standards (e.g. NTSC or PAL) by encoding digital primary color image signals in a first mode to produce digital component video signals and in a second mode to produce digital composite video signals. The encoder includes a matrix for producing digital color difference signals at a clock rate equal to the digital sampling clock rate 2f.sub.s and a down sampler for downsampling the digital color difference signals to reduce the clock rate. A digital low pass filter limits the frequency band of a down-sampled color difference signal by providing predetermined selected attenuation at preestablished frequencies of the down-sampled digital color difference signal.

  • Patent number: 5095364
Abstract: A color television camera having an image pickup unit for providing three-color image pickup signals at a predetermined rate fs includes an analog/digital converting unit for digitizing an output signal of the image pickup unit at a clock rate equal to the rate fs, a first rate converting unit for interpolating and converting the rate of the digitized image pickup signals into three-color digital image signals having a rate 2fs, a signal processing unit supplied with the rate-converted three-color digital image signals for forming a digital compositive video signal at the 2fs rate, a digital low-pass filter supplied with the digital composite video signal from the signal processing unit for limiting the frequency range of the digital composite video signal to less than about fs/2, and a second rate converting unit coupled to the digital low-pass filter for converting the rate of the frequency limited digital composite video signal to fs.
