    Abstract: Provided are compositions and methods useful in regenerating damaged tissue, especially cardiac tissue, by delivering to the site of injury an miRNA that can reduce, for example, the expression of phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN). The compositions and methods of the disclosure may be generally applied to deliver an miRNA to a cell or tissue such as, but not limited to, a neuron, a smooth muscle cell, or a tumor cell. The compositions comprise a transmembrane carrier peptide conjugated, optionally by a linker, to an oligonucleotide complementary to an miRNA. The carrier peptide facilitates the entry of the miRNA into cells and for delivery to a tissue of an animal or human may be mixed with an extracellular matrix-derived hydrogel carrier.

    Abstract: Provided are stem cell biomimetic microparticles comprised of at least one stem cell-derived paracrine polypeptide or growth factor embedded in a polymer core particle that further comprises an outer layer of at least one fragment of a cell membrane of a stem cell disposed on the core particle. The polymer core may be constituted of any biocompatible and biodegradable polymer or copolymer, or a combination thereof that allows the embedding of the paracrine factors and their prolonged release from the core. The core and hence the microparticles can be biodegradable, allowing eventual elimination from the recipient animal or human subject. The core particles are sized to allow both transport through blood vessels and extravasation from the blood vessels into the surrounding tissues. The core particle may further include at least one polypeptide or peptide growth factor to induce the generation and proliferation of a population of stem cells.

    Abstract: An air-cooled carrier of heat-generating electronic components includes a frame, a plate, and baffles. The plate coupled to the frame divides airflow in the frame into two channels. Opposite sides of each channel along a first direction carry inlet and outlet. A pair of baffles is coupled to each channel, each baffle comprises a mounting part, an arc-shaped elastic part, and a blocking part. The mounting part is fixed to the frame and the arc-shaped elastic part. The blocking part is fixed to the arc-shaped elastic part and extends to middle of the airflow cavity in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. In the absence of a mounted storage component, the elastic part bringing the blocking part to a first position and so blocking air flow from that outlet to that inlet.

    Abstract: A carrier tray to allow rapid installment of additional modules or devices, without screws, into a computer includes a frame, two sliders, an elastic member, and a handle. A bracket of the frame has a unit cavity. The two sliders can slide along a first direction and the elastic member is compressible between the two sliders. The handle allows pushing and pulling of the tray along a second direction and is attached to the two sliders, the two sliders can move towards each other (to a first position) or apart (to a second position). The two sliders return to the unity cavity by pulling the handle from the first position to the second position along the second direction. Continued pulling of the handle in the second direction removes the carrier tray from the computer.
