The body defines a fluid flow passage extending between the inlet and the outlet such that the outlet is in fluid flow communication with the inlet. A magnetized member is disposed within the fluid flow passage and is movable between a first position wherein fluid flow communication between the outlet and the inlet is blocked and a second position wherein fluid flow communication between the outlet and the inlet is open. A temperature sensitive magnetic member is coupled to the body and has sufficient magnetic properties to attract the magnetized member below a predetermined temperature, thereby maintaining the magnetized member in the first position. One such method may include the steps of: combining content of multiple digital files selected by a user into a new digital file; encrypting the new digital file and generating authorization information according to a key used in the encryption and information of a client where the user logs in; and transmitting the authorization information to the client to instruct the client to use the new digital file based on the authorization information. In some embodiments, contents of multiple digital files selected by a user may be combined into a new digital file, and authorization information for the new digital file may be transmitted to the client, thus achieving authorization for digital works from multiple sources.

Abstract: This invention discloses a bit-stuffing method for crosstalk avoidance in high-speed buses, which comprises the steps of inputting a plurality of data bit streams in parallel to a data input buffer; the data input buffer sequentially inputting data bits of the data bit streams to a bit-switching unit, and the bit-switching unit switching the data bits to generate bit-switched data; parallelly inputting the bit-switched data to a bit-stuffing encoding unit; the bit-stuffing encoding unit performing bit-stuffing encoding on the bit-switched data to generate encoded data bits and inputting the encoded data bits to an encoded data buffer; and the encoded data buffer outputting the encoded data to a high-speed bus. The encoded data bits passed through the high-speed bus are decoded using a bit-removing method to recover the data bit streams.

Abstract: A local adaptive method is proposed for automatic detection of microaneurysms in a digital ocular fundus image. Multiple subregions of the image are automatically analyzed and adapted to local intensity variation and properties. A priori region and location information about structural features such as vessels, optic disk and hard exudates are incorporated to further improve the detection accuracy. The method effectively improves the specificity of microaneurysms detection, without sacrificing sensitivity. The method may be used in automatic level-one grading of diabetic retinopathy screening.

Abstract: An aluminum alloy-and-resin composite includes an aluminum alloy substrate, an anodic oxide film formed on the substrate, and resin composition bonded with the anodic oxide film. The anodic oxide film has nano-pores with an average diameter of about 30-60 nm. The resin composition fills the nano-pores and coatings surfaces of the anodic oxide film. An electrical supply (130) is electrically coupled to the first metallic mesh (114) and the second metallic mesh (112). Operation of the electrical supply (130) generates an electrical field between the first metallic mesh (114) and the second metallic mesh (112). A fuel injector (120) is disposed at an end of the fuel line (110), downstream from the first metallic mesh (114). Methods of reducing the size of fuel particles, improving gas mileage in a vehicle, increasing power output from a combustion engine, and improving emissions for a combustion engine are also provided.
