Abstract: An electronic device has a first surface providing electrical contact points and multiple side surfaces surrounding the first surface. The electronic device includes a lead frame and a device die attached to the lead frame. The lead frame is located at a side of the first surface of the electronic device, and is configured to provide solder pads on the first surface of the electronic device. A lead frame for the electronic device and a method for assembling the electronic device also are provided.

The method comprises; providing electrical connections between terminals of said lead frame sub-structures and said leadframe structure; encapsulating said leadframe structure, said electrical connections and said terminals in an encapsulation layer; performing a first series of parallel cuts extending through the leadframe structure and the encapsulation layer to expose a side portion of said terminals; electro-plating said terminals to form metal side pads; and performing a second series of parallel cuts angled with respect to the first series of parallel cuts, the second series of cuts extending through the lead frame structure and the encapsulation layer to singulate a semiconductor device from the leadframe structure.

Vehicle-mounted sensors communicate delivery status information via a wireless network. Status and performance data can be reviewed in real time to allow a dispatcher to efficiently manage the truck fleet. Electronic tickets and exception reports are provided.

Abstract: A resource management system for tracking the real-time location and status of a plurality of trucks during interaction with a plurality of batch plants and a plurality of jobsites to provide a system for managing the trucks and drivers; providing customer efficiency; and providing dispatch accountability. Vehicle-mounted sensors automatically communicate delivery status information via a wireless network, all without requiring driver intervention. The on-board personal computer (PC) or Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) displays GPS maps, relays driver messages and stores performance data. The status and performance data can be reviewed in real time to allow the dispatcher to efficiently manage the truck fleet with regard to the jobsite demands and the capabilities of the available batch plants. Alternatively, the status and performance data can be reviewed at a later time to analyze and improve resource allocation.
