  • Patent number: 9193082
Abstract: A cutting plotter includes a processor and a memory. The memory stores computer-readable instructions that cause the processor to perform setting, counting, storing, and notifying when executed. The setting sets a plurality of partial areas by dividing a cuttable area of a holding member, the cuttable area is an area in which a cutting object is to be detachably adhered. The counting counts a number of cuts by a cutting blade within the cuttable area for each of the plurality of partial areas. The storing stores each of count values associated with each of the plurality of partial areas in a storage portion, each of the count values is counted by the counting for each of the plurality of partial areas. The notifying notifies, based on the count values stored in the storage portion, information relating to the number of cuts for each of the plurality of partial areas.

  • Patent number: 9099315
Abstract: A mounting structure which reduces the mechanical stress added to a low-? material due to warping caused by the difference in thermal expansion coefficients between a chip and a chip support during mounting. This mounting structure includes: a low-? layer formed on top a semiconductor substrate; an electrode layer formed on the low-? layer; a protective layer formed the low-? layer and the electrode layer and having an opening reaching the electrode layer; a first solder layer filling the opening and formed on the electrode layer inside; a second solder layer formed on the first solder layer and having an elastic modulus smaller than the first solder layer; and a support layer connected to the second solder layer and supporting the semiconductor substrate. The protective layer has a greater elastic modulus and a smaller thermal expansion coefficient than an underfill layer formed between the protective layer and the support layer.

  • Patent number: 8149427
Abstract: A raster-imaging processing (RIP) time is predicted for each of a number of pages to be printed in printed-page number order. The pages are sorted based at least on when RIP should be finished for each page. The pages are dispatched to RIP components for RIP at least substantially in an order in which the pages have been sorted. Each page is dispatched to a next RIP component that is available. A RIP component is available for a given page to be dispatched thereto where a total size of the RIP component's output buffer minus space within this output buffer taken up by any pages ordered after the given page in the printed-page number order is greater than the needed space to store the given page. The pages as have been raster-image processed are retrieved from the output buffers in the printed-page number order and transmitted to a printing device.

  • Publication number: 20090266282
Abstract: A sewing machine includes a sewing device, an imaging device, a determination device, a sewing condition storage device, a reading device, and a control device. The sewing device includes a needle bar and a sewing machine motor. The imaging device captures an image of a work cloth on which a marker is disposed to identify information corresponding to actual sewing conditions. The determination device determines an appearance feature of the work cloth based on the image obtained by the imaging device. The sewing condition storage device stores the appearance feature and sewing condition information corresponding to the sewing conditions that are correlated with each other. The reading device reads the sewing condition information corresponding to the appearance feature from the sewing condition storage device. The control device identifies the actual sewing conditions based on the sewing condition information read out by the reading device, and controls the sewing device.

  • Patent number: 6651082
Abstract: A system and method which dynamically changes the load balance of assigned loads for each group in a sequence of processes from a first stage to an n-th stage in a computer having a plurality of processors, wherein the plurality of processors are grouped into at least two groups, comprises the steps of: detecting a change in a characteristic value in a queue for transferring a processing result between the groups; and changing the assignment of assigned processes for each group based on the change in the characteristic value. A characteristic value stored in a queue represents a value related to work load, and a queue seldom becomes full or empty if the load balance is changed referring to this characteristic value.
