  • Patent number: 6537595
Abstract: Provided is a chewing gum composition containing a granular flavoring having a bulk density of 0.40 to 0.95 g/cm3 obtained by a fluidized bed layering granulating method using a spray-drying type fluidized bed granulating apparatus which continuously produces spherical granules directly from a liquid raw material, wherein the granular flavoring has a hardness of 0.5 to 1.0 gf/mm2 and an average particle diameter of 50 to 1000 &mgr;m and is contained preferably in a proportion of 0.01 to 5% by weight based on the total amount of the chewing gum composition. Obtained is a chewing gum composition in which a flavor component is retarded from eluting and in which a strong flavor persists even after staying in one's mouth for a long time.

  • Publication number: 20030001206
Abstract: An LDMOS transistor and a bipolar transistor with LDMOS structures are disclosed for suitable use in high withstand voltage device applications, among others. The LDMOS transistor includes a drain well region 21 formed in P-type substrate 1, and also formed therein spatially separated one another are a channel well region 23 and a medium concentration drain region 24 having an impurity concentration larger than that of drain well region 21, which are simultaneously formed having a large diffusion depth through thermal processing. A source 11s is formed in channel well region 23, while a drain 11d is formed in drain region 24 having an impurity concentration larger than that of drain region 24. In addition, a gate electrode 11g is formed over the well region, overlying the partially overlapped portions with well region 23 and drain region 24 and being separated from drain 11d.

  • Publication number: 20020076696
Abstract: Disclosed are a method for detecting or quantitatively determining a single-stranded DNA fragment having a specific nucleic acid sequence through hybridization, and a reagent kit for the detection or determination. A carrier-bonded DNA probe comprising (a) a single-stranded DNA probe having a nucleic acid sequence complementary to the specific nucleic acid sequence of the single-stranded DNA fragment to be detected or quantitatively determined in a sample, and (b) a carrier comprising a substance with a very low adsorbance for DNA, as bonded together via or without a spacer therebetween, is hybridized with DNA fragments in the sample, and the hybridized DNA fragment is detected or quantitatively determined.

  • Patent number: 6004209
Abstract: A sound feeling device (1) having a case main body (4) which is constituted of, at least, a case (3) having a bottom (3x) in contact with the body when the device (1) is used and a partition plate (5) which is mounted with a loudspeaker (6), and, together with the case (3), defines a sound producing space. The bottom (3x) vibrates upon receiving sounds from the loudspeaker (6), and is curved at least, at the part which is in contact with the body when used, along the shape of the body.

  • Patent number: 5059395
Abstract: In particle analysis applied to blood cells, use is made of a distinguishing parameter which is the ratio of pulse height to pulse width derived from individual pulses generated in response to detection of corresponding individual particles. The distribution of the distinguishing parameter is plotted on a distribution of pulse height and pulse width, and a three-dimensional display of pulse height, pulse width and the distinguishing parameter is used in analyzing the particles.

  • Patent number: 4707363
Abstract: A soft starchy chewing gum capable of retaining its softness in an atmosphere of very low temperature contains, in substitution for a portion or all of sweetening malt honey, a preparation comprising a source of an .alpha.-starch consisting essentially of amylopectin, and a total water content of about 0.3 to 12% by weight which contributes to providing the soft starchy chewing gum with a consistency similar to rice cake. The chewing gum may be fabricated into a stuffed chewing gum enclosing a center filling, such as bean jam, jelly, ice-cream or the like.
