  • Patent number: 5838494
Abstract: This invention relates to a stereoscopic image display apparatus which allows an observer to recognize a stereoscopic image, and has a lenticular lens sheet constituted by arranging a plurality of lenticular lenses, and a display unit for sequentially arranging and displaying, on a rear surface portion of the lenticular lens sheet, bundles each including n stripe images which are obtained by dividing n parallax images from different view points into a plurality of stripe images, and bundling corresponding stripe images constituting the respective parallax images. When the deviation amount of the central position of each of the lenticular lenses and the central position of the bundle of stripe images is given by .gamma.

  • Patent number: 5287147
Abstract: An original scanning apparatus comprising original support means on which an original is rested, elongated light source means for illuminating the original rested on the original support means, reflection means for reflecting light from the elongated light source means toward the original support means. The elongated light source means is fixed and the reflection means being shiftable, so that the original rested on the original support means is scanned by shifting the reflection means. Apparatus further includes side reflector means disposed at a longitudinal end of the elongated light source means and extending along a shifting direction of the reflection means.

  • Patent number: 5255116
Abstract: The present invention provides an original scanning apparatus comprising, an original support plate on which an original is rested, a fixed point light source having a width smaller than that of the original support plate, a shiftable reflection member for reflecting light beams emitted from the light source toward the original support plate, and a first deflector member for deflecting the light beams emitted from the light source in a slit widthwise direction and a second deflector member for deflecting the light beams in a slit longitudinal direction, the first and second deflector members being formed discretely.

  • Patent number: 5233469
Abstract: An imaging optical system using index distribution type optical elements comprises an imaging optical system for forming the image of an object on a light receiving surface, is formed by a plurality of optical elements of erect one-to-one magnification having a radial index distribution arranged in a row and satisfies the following relations: ##EQU1## D is the effective diameter of each optical element, Xo is the field radius of each optical element, and P is the arrangement interval of the optical elements.

  • Patent number: 4907850
Abstract: An apparatus for periodically generating a second harmonic light comprises: a light source; and means for converting a fundamental wavelength light emitted from said light source to a second harmonic light, including optical wave guide means having a light propagation area and means for periodically varying a refractive index of the light propagation area.

  • Patent number: 4750022
Abstract: In an optical projection system in which the mismatching of multiple images and local variation in magnification on an image plane is compensated for, there are provided a compound eye system consisting of plural real image systems which project images of plural portions on an object plane onto the image plane, and deflecting members for deflecting luminous fluxes from the plural portions on the object plane.

  • Patent number: 4473890
Abstract: The structure of a compound is expressed as an atom connection table using an electronic computer. The structure is registered in a three-dimensional manner, making it possible to effect the interconversion between the atom connection table and symbols R, S that represent absolute configuration of asymmetric carbon atoms, or .alpha., .beta. that represent directions of substitution relative to the plane the ring. Namely, in the case of a ring compound, bonded atoms in the clockwise and counterclockwise directions, and bonded atoms in the upward and downward directions of the ring are stored in the separate predetermined registers. In the case of a chain compound, bonded atoms in the right and left directions, and bonded atoms in the upward and downward directions are stored in the separate predetermined registers. On the atom connection table, therefore, the rotational directing of bonded atoms can be defined as viewed from a given direction.
