  • Publication number: 20150022246
Abstract: A driver circuit is connected to a control terminal of a voltage-controlled switching element via a connection line. The drive circuit drives the switching element. The switching element is switched to an ON state by charging the control terminal of the switching element via the connection line. The switching element is switched to an OFF state by discharging the control terminal of the switching element via the connection line. A voltage at a predetermined position on the connection line is detected. An open circuit state between the control terminal and the predetermined position is detected based on a speed of change in the detected voltage at the predetermined position when the switching element is switched to the ON state or the OFF state.

  • Publication number: 20140077601
Abstract: An inverter converts a direct-current (DC) power supplied from different DC power supplies into an alternate-current (AC) power formed by a quasi sinusoidal wave and then outputs the thus converted AC power. A first absolute-value setting switch to a fourth absolute-value setting switch are switched to generate absolute values of AC power by using a combination of a power-supply voltage supplied from each DC power supply and a voltage generated from a voltage supplied from each DC power supply. A first polarity setting switch to a fourth polarity setting switch are switched to generate the polarities of AC power. A control unit controls the switching of the first absolute-value setting switch and the like and the first polarity setting switch and the like. The control unit switches the first polarity switching switch and the like with timing at which the polarity of quasi sinusoidal wave changes.

  • Publication number: 20130002021
Abstract: A control section generates a quasi-sine wave with a plurality of gradation voltages including power supply voltages from DC power supplies with different voltages and one or more potential differences between two of the power supply voltages. Specifically, the control section generates the quasi-sine wave by, in a time range where a sine wave voltage is at two gradation voltages, generating a PWM signal with one gradation voltage set at a low level and the other gradation voltage set at a high level. The timing for switching the PWM signal is determined using an intersection between a sine wave and a triangular wave in the time range where the sine wave voltage is at two gradation voltages, where the triangular wave is generated with one gradation voltage set at a low level and the other gradation voltage set at a high level.

  • Patent number: 8319419
Abstract: A display apparatus comprises a display unit which has a plurality of organic EL elements two-dimensionally arranged to define pixels. Each organic EL element comprises a first electrode, an organic EL layer, and a second electrode laminated in order on an optically transparent substrate. One of the first electrode and second electrode is an optically transparent electrode, while the other is a non-optically transparent electrode. The non-optically transparent electrode is disposed to exist only in part of each pixel, as viewed from vertically above (for example, the width of the electrode is made smaller than the width of a pixel). In this way, the display unit can transmit light through portions of the pixels in which the non-optically transparent electrodes are not disposed. Preferably, the non-optically transparent electrode includes a mirror surface opposite to the organic EL layer.

  • Patent number: 8295975
Abstract: An object picking device, which is inexpensive and capable of speedily and accurately picking one object at a time from a random pile state. A target detecting part of an image processing part processes an image captured by a camera and detects objects. A target selecting part selects an object among the detected objects based on a certain rule. A view line direction calculating part calculates the direction of a view line extending to the selected object. A target position estimating part estimates the position including the height of the selected object based on size information of the object in the image. Then, a grip correction calculating part calculates an amount of correction of the movement of a robot so as to grip the object by using the robot.

  • Publication number: 20120208012
Abstract: A semiconductor processing sheet contains a base layer having a plastic sheet containing pigment as a core layer, wherein a non-pigment-containing layer is arranged in the outermost layer on front and back main surfaces of the core layer. According to the present invention, in a process for manufacturing semiconductor devices, it is possible to minimize contamination of the inner surface for the film manufacturing die that is due to the pigment contained in the film while maintaining the visibility of the semiconductor processing sheet. Consequently, partial occlusion of the die lip aperture due to pigment contamination is reduced, with the result that effective prevention of the deterioration of the sheet thickness precision due to adhering pigment is possible.
