  • Publication number: 20190304235
Abstract: When a banknote cassette is taken out from a change machine installed in a store A in which a money handling apparatus is installed and is mounted to the money handling apparatus, the money handling apparatus specifies a store, stores banknotes, calculates a fee, and updates the proceeds from sales and the fee. In this case, since the store A in which the money handling apparatus is installed is specified, the fee is “0”, and the proceeds from sales of the store A is updated. Meanwhile, when a banknote cassette is taken out from a change machine installed in another store B, a fee to be paid by the store B is calculated, and the proceeds from sales and the fee of the store B are updated.

  • Publication number: 20190231534
Abstract: An artificial cartilage is provided whereby a fixed negative charged hydrogel has been infused within a restrictive swelling network, which limits and restricts the thickness of the artificial cartilage. At least 60% of the volume of the artificial cartilage is composed of the restricted and swollen hydrogel. The restrictive swelling network restricts the hydrogel to swell not more than 10% with respect to its maximum swelling capacity, i.e. a swelling capacity to swell 10-fold more is retained. The hydrogel within the restrictive swelling network has an equilibrium stiffness between 0.5 and 2 MPa to resist external loads applied to the top surface layer or the bottom surface layer of the artificial cartilage. The hydrogel has a fixed negative charge density of ?0.17 to ?0.23 mEg/ml and is capable of swelling between 2-15 times compared to the volume of the hydrogel without being restricted.

  • Publication number: 20190160109
Abstract: A solubilized notochordal cell matrix powder dissolved in a carrier solvent or formed as a gel is provided. The notochordal cell matrix powder originates from lyophilized and treated porcine nucleus pulposus tissue containing notochordal cells. The powder contains less than 20% of porcine nucleid acids, and the powder contains a substantially unchanged amount of porcine protein content compared to the originating porcine nucleus pulposus tissue. The solubilized notochordal cell matrix powder is capable of stimulating native or stem cells to proliferate and produce a significant increase in glycosaminoglycans and type-II collagen matrix. Embodiments of the invention can be used as a lubricant with regenerative potential for application in the osteoarthritic joint.

  • Patent number: 9902350
Abstract: An upper and lower pair of first beads that extend in a longitudinal direction are formed at an inner side wall of a front side spacer. The first beads project to the vehicle width direction outer side. Therefore, when a collision load diagonally to the rear-left side is inputted to a front end portion of the inner side wall, the first beads act to support the inner side wall adjacent above and below the first beads from the vehicle width direction outer side. Accordingly, tilting deformation of the inner side wall toward the vehicle width direction outer side at the beginning of a micro-wrap collision of a vehicle is suppressed. An overall dimension in the vertical direction of the general portions of the inner side wall is specified to be greater than an overall dimension in the vertical direction of the first beads.
