  • Publication number: 20250074485
Abstract: A method is provided including obtaining a first range area in which a designated position of a vehicle system may be determined to be located based at least in part on a calculated distance from a known location at a front end of the vehicle system that has been determined by a leading sensor. The front end may be relative to a direction of travel. The method may include obtaining a second range area in which the designated position of the vehicle system may be determined to be located using a different, trailing sensor that is located spaced away from the front end of the vehicle system. • Publication number: 20250071500
Abstract: Sound objects are identified within a content item, and location metadata is extracted from the content item for each sound object. A reference layout is generated, relative to a user position, for the sound objects based on the location metadata. A user's gaze is then determined using pupil tracking, body movement data, head orientation data, or other techniques. Using the reference layout, a sound object along a path defined by the gaze of the user is identified, and audio of the identified object is enhanced.

  • Publication number: 20250061663
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating an AR image are described herein. A physical camera is used to capture a video of a physical object in front of a physical background. The system then accesses data defining a virtual environment and selects a first position of a virtual camera in the virtual environment. While capturing the video, the system displays captured video of the physical object, such that the physical background is replaced with a view of the virtual environment from the first position of the virtual camera. In response to detecting a movement of the physical camera, the system selects a second position of the virtual camera in the virtual environment based on the detected movement. The system then displays the captured video of the physical object, wherein the view of the physical background is replaced with a view of the virtual environment from the second position of the virtual camera.

  • Publication number: 20250051951
Abstract: A method of plating substrates may include placing a substrate in a plating chamber comprising a liquid, and applying a current to the liquid in the plating chamber to deposit a metal on exposed portions of the substrate, where the current may include alternating cycles of a forward plating current and a reverse deplating current. To determine the current characteristics, a model of a substrate may be simulated during the plating process to generate data points that relate characteristics of the plating process and a pattern on the substrate to a range nonuniformity of material formed on the substrate during the plating process. Using information from the data points, values for the forward and reverse currents may be derived and provided to the plating chamber to execute the plating process.

  • Publication number: 20250044919
Abstract: The present application provides for synthesizing parallax cues for objects of interest in XR environments. An XR application may be applied to a user interface (UI) that generates an XR environment having several rendered objects. This environment may be an AR overlay, on a real-world environment, where there may be a mountain, a tiger, a deer, and a jeep. The XR application receives a selection of an object, e.g., the tiger, by receiving an eye gaze vector positioned at the tiger for an extended period. The XR application may then detect movement from the UI. Capturing movement from an AR headset may be detected after locking onto the tiger object. The XR application may then adjust the display of the XR environment, based on the movement, to exaggerate the parallax shift of the object of interest (e.g., the tiger) and not exaggerate the parallax shift of the other object (e.g., the jeep).

  • Publication number: 20250030978
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for providing personalized audio for different users in a vehicle. This may be accomplished by a vehicle entertainment system determining the positions of one or more users within the vehicle. The vehicle entertainment system may then select a zone configuration based on the determined positions and output audio according to the selected zone configuration. For example, a first user sitting in the back of the vehicle may be located in a first zone of the selected zone configuration and a second user sitting in the back of the vehicle may be located in a second zone of the selected zone configuration. The vehicle entertainment system may output a first piece of audio to the first zone and a second piece of audio to the second zone using one or more techniques (e.g., beamforming).

  • Publication number: 20250022011
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for a network inventory service (NIS). An NIS may, for example, profile a private network for personalized advertising by recording a list of devices connected to the private network, recording traffic data for the private network, and generating profile associated with the private network based on the recorded list of devices and the recorded traffic data. The NIS may be notified, e.g., of a device within the private network, an advertising avail, request, from an advertising service, a targeted advertisement based on the user profile, and cause the targeted advertisement to be inserted in the advertising avail. In some embodiments, an NIS may work in conjunction with an inventory profile service (IPS) and/or an ad presentation service (APS). An IPS may deliver rules for analyzing new devices and/or network traffic and an APS may communicate with the NIS along with various advertiser networks to supply personalized ads.

  • Patent number: 12189812
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for preserving the privacy of a user in connection with an extended reality (XR) application. The system and methods may receive, by an interposer application, image data from a video capture driver and determine, by the interposer application and based on privacy preferences of a user profile, whether a region of the image data comprises sensitive content. In response to determining that a region of the image data comprises sensitive content, the image data may be modified by applying, by the interposer application, a modification to the region of the image data. The modified image data may be provided by the interposer application to the XR application, wherein the wherein the XR application may be prohibited from directly accessing data from the video capture driver.

  • Patent number: 12175982
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided in which a speaker profile-data inquiry is transmitted to a mobile device associated with a first speaker. In response to the speaker-profile-data inquiry, speaker profile data associated with the first speaker is received. Audio data representing a voice input is received. The first speaker is identified as providing the voice input, the identification being based on a comparison of characteristics of the received audio data with the speaker profile data of a plurality of speakers for whom speaker profile data is stored. An instruction, which includes a speaker-relative signifier, is determined from the received audio data, and determining the instruction includes determining a referent of the speaker-relative signifier based on the first speaker profile data. An action indicated by the instruction is performed.
