    Abstract: Sound objects are identified within a content item, and location metadata is extracted from the content item for each sound object. A reference layout is generated, relative to a user position, for the sound objects based on the location metadata. A user's gaze is then determined using pupil tracking, body movement data, head orientation data, or other techniques. Using the reference layout, a sound object along a path defined by the gaze of the user is identified, and audio of the identified object is enhanced.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described for generating an AR image are described herein. A physical camera is used to capture a video of a physical object in front of a physical background. The system then accesses data defining a virtual environment and selects a first position of a virtual camera in the virtual environment. While capturing the video, the system displays captured video of the physical object, such that the physical background is replaced with a view of the virtual environment from the first position of the virtual camera. In response to detecting a movement of the physical camera, the system selects a second position of the virtual camera in the virtual environment based on the detected movement. The system then displays the captured video of the physical object, wherein the view of the physical background is replaced with a view of the virtual environment from the second position of the virtual camera.

    Abstract: The present application provides for synthesizing parallax cues for objects of interest in XR environments. An XR application may be applied to a user interface (UI) that generates an XR environment having several rendered objects. This environment may be an AR overlay, on a real-world environment, where there may be a mountain, a tiger, a deer, and a jeep. The XR application receives a selection of an object, e.g., the tiger, by receiving an eye gaze vector positioned at the tiger for an extended period. The XR application may then detect movement from the UI. Capturing movement from an AR headset may be detected after locking onto the tiger object. The XR application may then adjust the display of the XR environment, based on the movement, to exaggerate the parallax shift of the object of interest (e.g., the tiger) and not exaggerate the parallax shift of the other object (e.g., the jeep).

The NIS may be notified, e.g., of a device within the private network, an advertising avail, request, from an advertising service, a targeted advertisement based on the user profile, and cause the targeted advertisement to be inserted in the advertising avail. In some embodiments, an NIS may work in conjunction with an inventory profile service (IPS) and/or an ad presentation service (APS). An IPS may deliver rules for analyzing new devices and/or network traffic and an APS may communicate with the NIS along with various advertiser networks to supply personalized ads.

A reconfiguration request is transmitted to a networking device of the network. The reconfiguration request causes the networking device to adjust its network QoS parameters according to the priority level of network service and provide a network resource such as bandwidth according to the adjusted network QoS parameters to the priority application during the scheduled event. When the scheduled event has ended, the networking device is instructed to release the network resource.

The AR headset displays avatars to represent the other users and displays the avatars in the viewing area of the user wearing the AR headset. For the user wearing the AR headset, the avatars provide a viewing experience that simulates having the other users present in the viewing area.
