  • Patent number: 4854991
Abstract: Apparatus and method for producing, on a commercial scale, forming tubes of high quality and uniformity including one or more beads on the outer periphery of the tubes which terminate a desired distance from the tube end edges by sequentially cutting the bead cord material to the desired length and at the desired time relative to the tube ends and feeding such cut bead cord material between selected tube plies during the winding of the plies on a mandrel to form tubular material and then cutting the tubular material to form tubes of the desired length. Also, such apparatus and method provide for the picking up and rolling of the beads which are interrupted on the outer periphery of the tubular material and the subsequent cutting of the tubular material intermediate such bead interruptions.

  • Patent number: 4752729
Abstract: A test circuit for a VLSI integrated circuit includes interface test circuits (20) which are disposed between a logic circuit (16) an output terminal (14). The interface circuits (20) are each operable to provide a transparent interface between logic circuit (16) and output terminals (14) or force a high logic state on the output, a low logic state on the output or a floating state. A test code circuit (22) is operable to receive two logic signals from pins (24) and (26) external to the IC and determine the state of the test interface circuit (20) such that all test interface circuits (20) operate simultaneously in the same mode.

  • Patent number: 4708775
Abstract: Volatile matter especially solvents is recovered from waste material using a hot granular material such as sand, as a heat carrier to drive off the solvents, and as a carrier for the non-volatile resin content of the waste; the resins are thermally decomposed in reactions which provide heat to maintain the granular material hot and the granular material is continuously circulated; the exhaust gases from the thermal decomposition of the resins can be used as a source of heat outside the system.
