  • Publication number: 20240095290
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for filtering search engine results for a user is provided. The method includes maintaining a filtration layer that is opted into by a search engine and a client device. The method further includes building a user search interaction model, operatively coupled to the filtration layer, based on a user's profile and historic search results by performing a topic analysis on a user's interactions with the historic search results and selecting a subset of relevant topics based on respective amounts of user interaction. The user interaction includes interactions on a plurality of different devices. The method also includes filtering search results produced for a particular user search query on the client device using the user search interaction model and the filtration layer.

  • Patent number: 11902356
Abstract: Computer technology for performing a download of a set of file(s) by multiple computer devices. Different computer devices respectively download different parts of the set of files and respectively encapsulate them with file wrappers to create multiple “sealed off portions.” Each sealed off portion indicates what portion of the code of the set of file(s) is in that sealed off portion. The multiple sealed off portions are transferred (for example, over a local area network) to another computer device, which may, or may not, be one of the multiple computers that created one of the sealed off portions, and this computer device assembles the sealed off portions to re-create the set of file(s).

Abstract: Computer-implemented methods, computer program products, and computer systems for mitigating frequency loss may include one or more processors configured for receiving first audio data corresponding to unobstructed user utterances, receiving second audio data corresponding to first obstructed user utterances, generating a frequency loss (FL) model representing frequency loss between the first audio data and the second audio data, receiving third audio data corresponding to one or more second obstructed user utterances, processing the third audio data using the FL model to generate fourth audio data corresponding to a frequency loss mitigated version of the second obstructed user utterances, and transmitting the fourth audio data to a recipient computing device. The first obstructed user utterances are obstructed by a facemask and the one or more second obstructed user utterances is obstructed by the facemask. The FL model may be executed as an audio plugin in a web conferencing program.

  • Patent number: 11657235
Abstract: Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The methods include, for instance: inputs of emotion time series data of a user and environmental factor data from one or more data collection device for a user assistance service. A baseline emotion time series is generated and an environmental factor that is likely to have affected changes in state of emotion on a subject is identified by regression analysis. An emotion time series model for the identified environmental factor is produced and prediction of a path to attain a target state of emotion at a certain time in the future is made. Recommendation to achieve the target state of emotion is produced based on the predicted path.

  • Patent number: 11558339
Abstract: Stepwise relationship cadence management can include generating a discourse cadence and confidence (DCC) measure based on a response message. The response message is made in replying to an originating message during a multi-party discourse over an electronic communication channel. The DCC measure indicates a likelihood of improving cadence and confidence with respect to an originator of the originating message and is based on a stepwise relational confidence model (SRCM) generated from an analysis of a plurality of prior multi-party discourses. Stepwise relationship cadence management can also include prompting a user to provide a follow-on message in response to determining that the response message made in replying to the originating message is not likely to improve cadence and confidence.

  • Patent number: 11558471
Abstract: A communication session between two or more computing devices is monitored. One or more share actions, that include one or more media documents, are identified in the communication session responsive to the media documents and based on the monitoring the communication session. Reaction data, that is related to the share actions, in the communication session is analyzed in response the share actions and based on the media documents. One or more relevant media documents are determined based on the analyzing the reaction data. The relevant media documents are analyzed based on the media documents. A first depiction rendered by a first of the devices of the communication session is modified based on the relevant media documents.

  • Patent number: 11556781
Abstract: In an approach to determining the effectiveness of a proposed solution, one or more computer processors monitor real-time communications. The one or more computer processors identify or more topics associated with the monitored real-time communications. The one or more computer processors feed the identified one or more topics and associated real-time communications into a solution efficacy model. The one or more computer processors generate based on one or more calculations by the solution efficacy model, an efficacy rating for the identified real-time communications. The one or more computer processors generate a prioritization of the identified real-time communications based on the generated efficacy rating.

  • Patent number: 11488616
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide techniques for improved call quality during telephony sessions. The speech quality of an active voice session is periodically evaluated using multiple noise reduction algorithms. In an instance where the speech quality of the currently used noise reduction algorithm is below the quality of another noise reduction algorithm, the telephony system may switch to a new noise reduction algorithm as the currently used (active) noise reduction algorithm in order to improve call quality during an active voice session.
