  • Patent number: 11301245
Abstract: Techniques are provided for determining bias in an artificial intelligence/machine learning system. A plurality of users contributing to content of the source code base are identified. A plurality of user contributions are generated by determining each user contribution to the source code base by analyzing attributes of the content. The plurality of user contributions are mapped to respective profiles of the users. A determination is made as to whether categories of contribution defined for the source code base are met, based upon the mapping of the plurality of user contributions to respective profiles.

  • Publication number: 20220088414
Abstract: A set of baseline treatment information is received. From the set of baseline treatment information, a set of incidental information is determined. Based on the set of baseline treatment information and the set of incidental information, a treatment mitigation area is generated. Based on the set of baseline treatment information, the set of incidental information, and the treatment mitigation area, a treatment mitigation model is created. • Patent number: 11277453
Abstract: Communication between a plurality of users on one or more media platforms is analyzed. A model of the communication that reflects trends of the communication is generated. Using the model, it is determined that a current communication between a first and second user of the media platform is relatively less efficient than a potential communication between the first user and a third user of the media platform. In response to determining that the current communication is relatively less efficient than the potential communication, the current communication is directed to the third person.

  • Patent number: 11269351
Abstract: A method, computer system, and computer program product for using sensor data to modify navigation commands. The method may include predicting a user's navigational action and modifying a navigation command based on comparing the user's predicted navigational action to a recommended navigational action. The modifying the navigation command may include communicating a navigation command to a user based on the user's predicted navigational action deviating from a predetermined navigational action. The modifying the navigation command may include suppressing a queued navigation command to a user based on the user's predicted navigational action conforming to a predetermined navigational action. Predicting the user's navigational action may be based on information received from one or more sensors embedded in a vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11200625
Abstract: Modification of a user skill profile based upon social presence includes receiving a document indicating skill competencies of a user, and analyzing the document to determine a first model. The first model includes skill competencies indicated within the document. A social media profile associated with the user is received. The social media profile is analyzed to determine a second model. The second model includes current skills competencies of the user indicated by the social media profile. The first model and the second model is compared to determine missing skill competencies, the missing skill competencies including current skill competencies in the second model that are missing from the document. The document is modified to include the missing skill competencies.

  • Publication number: 20210383799
Abstract: An embodiment of a summarization application divides collected conversation data into media and text components. The application implements respective machine learning mechanisms to enhance modeling operations of the text and media components to identify key elements from the conversation. The application generates a headline banner from a group of key elements based on an analysis involving first predetermined criteria. The application also combines additional key elements to the group of key elements to form a second group of key elements. The application generates a summary from the second group of key elements based on a second analysis involving second predetermined criteria. The application presents, via a display, the headline banner according to a first output of the first key element analysis and the summary according to a second output of the second key element analysis.

In an embodiment, the method comprises monitoring a message thread comprised of messages among a group of users on a social media platform for content that is inflammatory to one of the users; and when the inflammatory content has a defined condition, preventing the one of the users from posting messages to the message thread for a specified length of time. In an embodiment the defined condition is a defined level of the inflammatory content in the thread. In an embodiment, the defined condition is a defined increasing trend of the inflammatory content in the thread. In an embodiment, the monitoring the thread includes categorizing potentially inflammatory content into a plurality of categories, and specifying an inflammatory content level for each of the categories.

  • Patent number: 11188868
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention provide an approach for safeguarding a package for successful delivery. In an embodiment, a current location of a package, delivered but left outside its desired delivery location, is received from a smart label affixed to the package. The location and directional movements of the package are monitored. If the package is moved beyond a predefined distance threshold (e.g., 30 feet from a desired delivery residence), a threshold violation notification is sent to at least one party (e.g., customer, delivery service, police department, etc.) providing an alert of a potential theft of the package.

  • Patent number: 11178506
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system includes a processor(s) obtaining a signal from an implanted device within a given vicinity of the one or more processors. The processor(s) identifies a device that when active, has a pre-defined probability of impacting regular functionality of the implanted device. The processor(s) determines coordinates of a perimeter around the device, where the pre-defined probability of the device impacting the regular functionality of the implanted device is realized inside the perimeter. The processor(s) generate a geofence boundary around the device. The processor(s) initiate an action to decrease the pre-defined probability of the device impacting the regular functionality of the implanted device.
