Patent number: 5074769Abstract: A rotary compressor includes a support member for supporting a revolution piston while preventing rotary movement thereof with respect to its axis, and at least two sliding blades provided in the revolution piston. Both blades are biased against a surrounding cylinder by a one-piece spring. The maximum volume of the chamber is larger than the conventional chamber due to reciprocal movement of the slidable blades. The blades are positioned or rest at almost the same position in the radial direction of the revolution piston. Therefore, any inertia which effects the spring due to the sliding blades is very small. Thus, the sliding blades press the cylinder with almost constant force which is predetermined by the spring, even if the revolution piston changes the rotational speed thereof.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 1990Date of Patent: December 24, 1991Assignee: Aisin Seiki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kenichi Kazaoka, Hiroshi Okazaki

Patent number: 5051070Abstract: A compressor suitable for use in a vehicle cooling system. The compressor includes a cylinder having a cylindrical inner wall surface, a rotor supported by a crankshaft having an eccentric portion in the cylinder. A pair of vanes are carried at diametrically opposed positions by the rotor to extend in a radial direction, each of the vanes having a radially outward edge which is in sliding contact with the inner wall surface of the cylinder. End plates are secured to the cylinder at the axially opposite ends of the cylinder. A link mechanism is provided between the rotor and at least one of the end plates so that the rotor conducts a reciprocating angular movement in an angular range in response to a rotation of the crankshaft. The inner wall surface of the cylinder, the vanes and the end plates define working chambers of which volumes are variable in response to the angular movement of the rotor.Type: GrantFiled: December 29, 1989Date of Patent: September 24, 1991Assignee: Aisin Seiki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kenichi Kazaoka, Hiroshi Okazaki

Patent number: 4767157Abstract: The seat lifter according to the invention includes a front and rear links supporting the upper bracket member and the upper bracket member has a first upper bracket supporting a seat cushion of the seat and a second upper bracket supporting a seat back of the seat. Thus, the seat back and seat cushion of the seat are respectively moved in the independent state. Particularly, a pair of second pivoting member respectively pivoting the front and rear links on the first upper bracket positions approximately in a rear direction in respect of a pair of first pivoting member and a pair of third pivoting member respectively pivoting the front and rear links on said second upper bracket positions approximately in an upper direction in respect of said first pivoting. In accordance with lifting the seat cushion by rotating the both links around the first pivoting member, the seat back moves in a forward direction and the size of the seat cushion is minimized.Type: GrantFiled: February 3, 1987Date of Patent: August 30, 1988Assignee: Aisin Seiki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kenichi Kazaoka, Hiroshi Okazaki
