  • Publication number: 20130225190
Abstract: A mobile device (300) is wirelessly connectable to an LTE system configured to notify the mobile device of priority call information indicating a priority level of processing for an terminating call, and a 3G system configured to inform the mobile device of access class barring information specifying barring of an terminating call depending on an access class of the terminating call. If the terminating call is a priority call whose priority level in the priority call information indicates a higher processing priority than other calls and the barring by the access class barring information is set, the mobile device (300) executes connection to 3G system (20) and processes the terminating call, regardless of the access class barring information.

  • Publication number: 20130210442
Abstract: The communication system according to the present invention includes: a mobile device 300 connectable to an LTE system and a 3G system; and an RNC 210 configured to control mobility of the mobile device 300 between the LTE system and the 3G system. When the mobile device sends the RNC 210 a request for connection to the 3G system instead of the LTE system because the LTE system imposes access restriction to restrict communication performed by the mobile device 300, the mobile device 300 incorporates mobility information in the request for connection, the mobility information indicating that the mobile device hands over from the LTE system. In addition, when acquiring the mobility information from the mobile device 300, the RNC 210 restrains the mobile device 300 from handing over to the LTE system.

  • Publication number: 20130210429
Abstract: Even when small cells formed by the Home Node B and the Home eNode B are concentrated, the Automatic Neighbor Relation (ANR) function is effectively performed. A mobile device 300 reports cell information including a setting status of a neighboring cell to an RNC 100 based on broadcasted system information received from the neighboring cell. The mobile device 300 determines a neighboring cell to be reported to the RNC 100 based on report-target cell information including at least a type of a neighboring cell to be reported to the RNC 100, and reports the cell information to the RNC 100 based on the broadcasted system information received from the neighboring cell thus determined.

  • Patent number: 8478270
Abstract: A femtocell base station transmits broadcast information to a mobile station, the broadcast information including a permitted state mode and identification information corresponding to the femtocell. The mobile station shifts a state mode to a permitted state mode when the state mode of the mobile station and the permitted state mode included in the broadcast information differ. The mobile station then transmits a registration request for the femtocell when the identification information corresponding to the femtocell included in the broadcast information is not included in an access permission list managed by the mobile station. The mobile station then camps on the femtocell when the registration succeeds.

  • Patent number: 8457641
Abstract: The disclosed mobile communication method is a mobile communication method in a mobile communication system, wherein at least a part of a macro-cell (#A), with which first broadcast information is transmitted at a first frequency, and a femto cell (#a), in which second broadcast information is transmitted at a second frequency, overlap geographically. The method has step in which a wireless base station (#a) for a femto cell that manages the femto cell (#a) detects the first broadcast information, step in which the wireless base station (#a) for a femto cell transmits guiding broadcast information at a first frequency in response to detection of the first broadcast information, and step (C) in which a mobile station (UE #1) that is communicating in the macrocell (#A) performs handover to the femto cell (#a) when the guiding broadcast information is detected.

  • Publication number: 20130028187
Abstract: During a transition procedure from a first communication system to a second communication system, when the priority of a second communication call, whose setup is requested, is the first priority, the second communication system does not set up the bearer of a first communication call between the second communication system and the mobile communication terminal, and notifies the first communication system that the setup of the first communication is not possible, but the setup of the second communication call is possible. When notified that the setup of the first communication is not possible, but the setup of the second communication call is possible, the first communication system aborts the handover procedure, and instructs the mobile communication terminal to switch to the second communication system by another procedure.
