  • Patent number: 4533316
Abstract: There is disclosed a combustion apparatus of a fuel vaporizing type wherein fuel is led to a fuel injector for vaporization and the vaporized fuel is fed to a burner via a gas nozzle for combustion. The combustion apparatus features the provision of a device for removing at a high temperature tar attached in the fuel injector. Preferably, the removal of the tar is accomplished by fuel-empty burning. Therefore, there is no possibility that tar is deposited in the fuel injector, resulting in no faulty or incomplete combustion nor an accident to the combustion apparatus. It is further unnecessary to exchange the fuel injector or a vaporizing core installed therein or clear the interior of the fuel injector. The combustion apparatus demands only the fuel-empty burning device for the removal of tar with high temperature heating and is of simple and low cost structure. Controls are further provided for keeping constant the temperature of the fuel injector during fuel-empty burning.

  • Patent number: 4455547
Abstract: A resistive element which is formed in a semiconductor substrate comprises a first semiconductor region which is formed in the semiconductor substrate and in which an impurity is diffused at a first concentration; a second semiconductor region which is connected to the first semiconductor region at one end and in which an impurity is diffused at a second concentration higher than the first impurity concentration; a third semiconductor region which is connected to the first semiconductor region at the other end and in which an impurity is diffused at a third concentration higher than the first impurity concentration; and the second and third semiconductor regions respectively including a portion whose cross section has a smaller area than the area of a boundary defined by the second and third semiconductor region with the first semiconductor region.

  • Patent number: 4080577
Abstract: The disclosed linear amplifier comprises a grounded N.sup.+ semiconductor substrate on which an N layer is epitaxially grown. The N epitaxial layer includes three separate P diffusion regions. One of the outermost regions is connected to an input terminal and includes an N diffusion region to form an input, common emitter NPN transistor with the epitaxial layer while forming a feedback, common base PNP transistor with the intermediate P diffusion region and epitaxial layer. The remaining P region forms a load, common base PNP transistor with the intermediate P region and epitaxial layer and is connected to an injector terminal. The intermediate P region and N region are connected to an output terminal.
