Here, the dust is generated from the work material (W) irradiated with processing laser light (LB). Temperature sensor (70) detects the temperature of transparent protector (40).
Abstract: The disclosed is a deceleration device including a cylindrical brake member fixed to a rotary shaft, a plurality of permanent magnets arrayed in a circumferential direction of a circle around the rotary shaft, a cylindrical magnet holder holding the permanent magnets, and a switching mechanism that switches between a braking state and a non-braking state. The plurality of permanent magnets include primary magnets and secondary magnets that are arrayed alternatively in the circumferential direction. When viewed on a surface facing the brake member, north poles of the primary magnets are circumferentially adjacent to and in contact with north poles of the secondary magnets, and south poles of the primary magnets are circumferentially adjacent to and in contact with south poles of the secondary magnets. The magnetic holder is ferromagnetic.

Abstract: An eddy current damper includes a screw shaft, first permanent magnets, second permanent magnets, a cylindrical magnet holding member, a cylindrical conductive member, and a ball nut meshing with a screw shaft. The screw shaft is movable in the axial direction. The first permanent magnets are arrayed along the circumferential direction around the screw shaft. The second permanent magnet is arranged between the first permanent magnets, wherein the arrangement of magnet poles is inverted between the second permanent magnet and the first permanent magnet. The magnet holding member holds the first permanent magnet and the second permanent magnet. The conductive member is opposed to the first permanent magnets and the second permanent magnets with a gap therebetween. The ball nut is disposed inside the magnet holding member and the conductive member, and is fixed to the magnet holding member or the conductive member.
Abstract: An eddy current retarder includes a brake drum, a magnet retention ring, and a switch mechanism. The brake drum is fixed to a rotating shaft. The magnet retention ring is arranged inside the drum and retains magnets at regular intervals entirely in a circumferential direction such that the magnets face the inner peripheral surface of the drum. The switch mechanism includes switch plates that switch, during braking, to a state in which magnetic circuits develop between the magnets and the drum, and switch, during non-braking, to a state in which no magnetic circuits develop. Protrusions are provided on an end face of the drum at regular intervals entirely in the circumferential direction. Electricity generating coils are provided in a non-rotating part of a vehicle at regular intervals entirely in the circumferential direction such that the electricity generating coils face the regions of the end face of the drum.

A gear chamber includes a gear accommodating portion used for accommodating a gear and a strainer accommodating portion used for accommodating an oil strainer. One clutch chamber of a pair of clutch chambers adjacent to the strainer accommodating portion only directly communicates with the strainer accommodating portion of the gear accommodating portion and the strainer accommodating portion, and the one clutch chamber communicates with the gear accommodating portion only by using the strainer accommodating portion.

Abstract: The hard coating layer of the cutting tool includes a complex nitride or complex carbonitride layer expressed by the composition formula: (Ti1-xAlx)(CyN1-y). xavg and yavg satisfy 0.60?xavg?0.95 and 0?yavg?0.005. xavg is an average content ratio of Al in a total amount of Ti and Al, and yavg is an average content ratio of C in a total amount of C and N. Some crystal grains composing the complex nitride or complex carbonitride layer have a cubic structure. In crystal grains having the cubic structure, the average crystal grain misorientaion is 1 degree or more; or 2 degrees or more, based on analysis of the polished surface perpendicular to a surface of the layer. A peak exists in 1-2 degrees of the average crystal grain misorientation in the frequency distribution of the average crystal grain misorientation and the area ratio.

Abstract: Provided is a hydraulic clutch device capable of securing sufficient performance (oil filtration performance) of a filter for cleaning oil while avoiding an increase in size of the device. The hydraulic clutch device includes an oil pump, a pressure regulating valve which pressure-regulates oil discharged by the oil pump, and a hydraulic clutch engaged by the oil pressure-regulated by the pressure regulating valve, wherein the pressure regulating valve is disposed on a downstream side in an oil flow direction of the hydraulic clutch, and a filter is disposed between a piston chamber of the hydraulic clutch and the pressure regulating valve. The filter is attached to be accommodated in an accommodating portion formed by recessing an inner surface of the piston chamber from the inside of the piston chamber.
