  • Publication number: 20130079593
Abstract: An endoscope includes an elongated tube, an instrument channel, an end opening, and an end sleeve having the end opening inside. In combination with the endoscope, a closure device includes a plug housing in a sleeve form for mounting on the end sleeve. A plug cap is coupled to the plug housing removably, for closing the end opening. An access hole is formed in the plug cap, for entry of the medical instrument. A sealing lip is disposed to project from an inner surface of the plug housing, pressed by the end sleeve, for preventing fluid in the instrument channel from leaking out of the plug housing. A slit opening is formed in the sealing lip, has a slit width reduced by pressure of the end sleeve to the sealing lip, for passing the medical instrument from the access hole in a leakage-free manner.

  • Publication number: 20130070970
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a memory and a control unit. The memory stores a first image. The control unit divides the first image into a plurality of regions. Further, the control unit calculates a likelihood of an existence of a sample in the plurality of regions thus divided for each of the plurality of regions. Further, the control unit generates an existence map based on the calculated likelihood, the existence map having the plurality of regions classified into first regions, second regions, and third regions. Further, the control unit generates imaging sequence information based on the generated existence map, the imaging sequence information indicating imaging sequences such that the first regions are imaged prior to the second regions and a total movement distance of a stage for imaging the first and second regions becomes minimum.

  • Patent number: 8382661
Abstract: When a suction button is pushed in a pushing operation direction, the suction button pushes down longer lever ends of inversion levers, shorter lever ends of the inversion levers are pushed up based on a seesaw operation and the principle of leverage, and a piston body coupled through a coupling body moves in a direction opposed to a pushing operation direction against an urging force of a spring in cooperation with this upward movement. As a result, a valve moving portion moves away from a valve receiving portion to open a suction duct valve portion and suction is carried out, but the piston body retires to an outer periphery side of a bent duct when the valve portion is opened, and hence a suction duct is widened, thereby facilitating suction of even, e.g., a fluid having high viscosity.

  • Publication number: 20120253127
Abstract: A portion of an outer periphery of a plug body of a forceps plug is cut out to form an arm having a shape along the circumferential direction of an outer peripheral surface of an opening. A tip portion of the arm is formed with a boss that protrudes toward the opening. An outer peripheral surface of the opening tip portion is formed with a cam groove for a forceps plug that guides the boss. The cam groove for a forceps plug is constituted by a cam groove for attachment that guides the boss 33 when the forceps plug is attached, a cam groove for locking that locks the boss, and a cam groove for removal that guides the boss when the forceps plug is removed. When the boss moves along the cam groove for removal, the deflection of the arm exceeds an elastic limit, and the arm breaks.

  • Publication number: 20120253128
Abstract: A forceps plug includes a tubular plug main body, and a tubular fixing member rotatably held on the outer periphery of the plug main body. The inner peripheral surface of the fixing member is provided with a pair engaging claws. A ratchet mechanism that allows the fixing member to move to an incorporated location, an attachment position, a fixed position, and a removal position in order, but stops further movement to a position where the fixing member has moved once is provided between the inner peripheral surface of the plug main body and the outer peripheral surface of the fixing member. Since the fixing member of the used forceps plug removed from a opening is stopped from being to the fixed position by the ratchet mechanism, the fixing member cannot be fixed to the opening. Reuse of the used forceps plug can be made impossible without being accompanied by destruction.

  • Patent number: 8155035
Abstract: A reception apparatus and method is disclosed wherein recovery of a lost packet can be performed simply and rapidly in response to the variation of the loss rate. A packet analysis section detects loss of a packet, and a retransmission processing section registers packet information including a sequence number for identification of a packet having been lost into a NACK list. When loss of a packet is detected by the packet analysis section, a NACK production section produces a NACK packet for requesting for retransmission of the non-arriving packet whose packet information is registered in the NACK list. A network inputting/outputting section transmits the NACK packet to a transmission apparatus. The invention can be applied to a reception apparatus which receives, for example, streaming data.
