  • Publication number: 20090216084
Abstract: An endoscopic aspiration device is mounted on a manipulating head of an endoscope, from which an elongated insertion rod member is extended forward, the endoscopic aspiration device being composed of a valve casing which is mounted on the manipulation head in communication with an aspiration passage running through the insertion rod member, and a valve assembly unit including a valve member, a valve guide member and a connector member attached to the valve guide member to communicate same with a proximal aspiration passage on the side of a suction source. The valve member is put in a sliding displacement along the valve guide member to bring the aspiration passage into and out of communication with the proximal aspiration passage on the side of a suction source. The valve guide member is coupled with the valve casing through a coupling mechanism which permits to turn the valve assembly unit on and relative to the manipulating head.

  • Publication number: 20090209823
Abstract: An automatic retractable syringe includes a tubular body on which a syringe opening is provided; a piston body in whose pressing portion a vent hole VA is formed and in whose shaft portion a vent passage passing from the vent hole VA through inside to the front end portion is formed; and a spring which returns the pressed piston body to its original position. When the pressing portion is pressed by a thumb or other finger plugging the vent hole VA to move the piston body forward, air is supplied from the syringe opening. Subsequently, when the thumb or other finger is released, air flows into the tubular body through the vent hole VA and the vent passage, and the piston body automatically returns to its original position by the spring. Therefore, air can be consecutively supplied by repeatedly pressing the pressing portion.

  • Patent number: 7539925
Abstract: A congestion/non-congestion determining unit determines whether or not a communications network is in a congestion state. An FEC (forward error correction) packet generator generates error correction packets containing error correction data for correcting error of streaming data contained in transmission packets. When the determination result changes from a non-congestion state to a congestion state, an FEC transmission controller controls the error-correction-packet generation so as to change the number of error correction packets. The present invention is applicable to a remote TV conference system.

  • Publication number: 20090114323
Abstract: Disclosed is a pneumatic tire including a straight main groove and two wave-shaped main grooves arranged in the center area of a tread, and diagonal grooves arranged in each shoulder area ranging from each wave-shaped main groove to the outer side of the tire, and extending obliquely outward from the wave-shaped main groove to a direction reverse to the tire rotational direction, the rotational direction being specified for the tire. Each diagonal groove is formed to have a convex protruding toward the outer side of the tire, and the extending end portion of the diagonal groove terminates in the shoulder area. Thus, each shoulder area is provided with a non-block pattern in which a land section continues in the tire circumferential direction. Thereby, the pneumatic tire has increased driving stability and uneven wear resistance while substantially maintaining good drainage performance and noise performance against columnar resonance.

  • Patent number: 7280287
Abstract: A zoom lens apparatus is provided. In the zoom lens apparatus, rotation of a motor is transmitted to a cam drive gear by reducing a speed thereof by a plurality of reduction gears. The cam drive gear transmits rotation thereof to a zoom cam provided coaxially therewith. A first lens group and a second lens group are moved in an optical axis direction by rotation of the zoom cam to carry out zoom adjusting. An interval between the cam drive gear and the zoom cam is provided with a nontransmitting section in which rotation of the cam drive gear is not transmitted to the zoom cam when a rotational direction of the cam drive gear is switched, by rotation of the cam drive gear in the nontransmitting section, the zoom cam is slid in an axial direction. Thereby, also the first lens group and the second lens group connected and engaged with the zoom cam are moved in the optical axis direction along therewith to adjust a focus.

  • Publication number: 20070121720
Abstract: An importance level determination unit receives: input from a camera of frames of moving images taken; input from a switch connected to a server which is operated manually by hand; and voice input from a microphone. Based on these it determines the importance level of each image frame. An encoder compresses and encodes the image frames obtained by the camera and generates moving picture streams. A packetizer packetizes the moving picture streams and gives them to a tag attachment unit. The tag attachment unit attaches the importance level set for the respective image frames to packet headers of the moving picture streams as a priority tag. A transmission unit transmits packets with a priority tag to a network which includes a router with a packet priority control function.
