  • Patent number: 6769230
Abstract: A plurality of trimmed products 5, pressed-finished products 6, sub-component products 7 or the like which are pre-coating stages of sheet metal parts are put on top of each other as semi-finished products and collectively packed by a rust-preventive sheet 12 to provide a collective style of packing for collective storage 10. This collective packing style for collective storage 10 is stored as one packing unit. Operation timing of the collective storage is when the forecasted number of demand reaches a predetermined number, for example, when cubic volume of a metal die coincides with cubic volume for storing all quantity of the semi-finished products to be stocked. At this point, all quantity of the semi-finished products of which the demand is forecasted are collectively manufactured and stored as a stock, wherein the metal die is scrapped.

  • Patent number: 6487475
Abstract: A driving state monitoring apparatus for a vehicle, for monitoring the driving state of the driver of the vehicle is disclosed. A behavior parameter indicative of an amount of lateral movement of the vehicle and the speed of the vehicle is detected. A simple regression line is obtained according to changes in the behavior parameter and the simple regression line is set as a behavior reference. A lateral deviation behavior quantity of the vehicle is calculated according to the behavior parameter, the behavior reference, and the vehicle speed. It is determined according to the lateral deviation behavior quantity whether or not the driving state of the driver is proper. The shape of a road on which the vehicle is running is determined. When the road shape is determined to be substantially straight or curved with a substantially constant radius of curvature, and the driving state of the driver is not determined to be proper, it is determined that the driving state of the driver is abnormal.

  • Patent number: 6278362
Abstract: A driving state-monitoring apparatus for an automotive vehicle detects a behavior parameter indicative of an amount of behavior related to at least one of yawing movement and lateral movement of the automotive vehicle, and a vehicle speed of the automotive vehicle. A behavior reference parameter is set based on changes in the behavior parameter. A lateral deviation behavior amount of the automotive vehicle is calculated based on the behavior parameter, the behavior reference parameter, and the speed of the automotive vehicle. It is determined whether or not the driving state of the driver is normal, based on the lateral deviation behavior amount. Responsive to a determination that the driving state of the driver is not normal, it is determined that the driving state of the driver is abnormal, and a warning is given to the driver and/or a vehicle speed reduction is effected.

  • Patent number: 6014081
Abstract: When an automotive vehicle travels to come near one of rest points set in advance (S4), when the abnormality of the driving condition of the driver, or when a continuous driving time period over which the vehicle is continuously driven becomes equal to or longer than a predetermined time period T1, the driver is instructed to take a rest (step S14). When the driver is instructed to take a rest at a point other than the scheduled rest points, a suitable rest point is searched for (S13) to instruct the driver to take a rest there, and subsequent ones of the scheduled rest points are changed (S17).

  • Patent number: 5815070
Abstract: A driving state-monitoring apparatus for an automotive vehicle monitors a driving state of a driver of the automotive vehicle. A driving state parameter indicative of the driving state of the driver is calculated based on at least one of behavior of the automotive vehicle, a driving operation of the driver, and a condition of the driver. The driving state parameter is compared with a reference value. It is determined whether or not the driving state of the driver is normal, based on a result of the comparison. The reference value is changed based on the driving state parameter in such a direction that it becomes less possible to determine that the driving state of the driver is normal.
