  • Publication number: 20240325859
Abstract: A score tracking system may include a tracking module, companion device, and location system. The tracking module may be configured to be carried by a player competing in a golf tournament. The companion device may be configured to receive an input corresponding to a stroke event and that includes a time stamp corresponding to an occurrence of the stoke event. The location system may collect or receive location data, which comprises or is used by the location system to generate a plurality of sets of location coordinates. • Publication number: 20240300775
Abstract: A multi-function handling system for use with a fiber optic cable reel at an installation site includes a base body and a roller assembly connected to the base body to support the fiber optic cable reel of the base body. The base body includes a connection interface for engaging with pallet handling equipment to move the handling system around the installation site. The roller assembly includes a plurality of rollers configured to allow the fiber optic cable reel to rotate relative to the base body to payoff a length of fiber optic cable on the fiber optic cable reel for installation at the installation site. A method of handling a fiber optic cable reel at an installation site is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240267373
Abstract: Confining lateral traversal within a network. An authorization request identifies a credential, a protected first resource, and an identifier of a protected second resource for which authorization is requested. A lateral traversal policy associated with the second resource is identified, which constrains access to the second resource to only resources that belong to a subset of resources including the second resource. When it is determined that the credential is configured for access to the second resource, and when it is determined that the first resource belongs to the subset of resources including the second resource, an authorization token is issued, which authorizes the credential to access the second resource via the first resource. Alternatively, when it is determined that the credential is granted access to the second resource, and when it is determined that the first resource is outside of the particular subset of resources, the authorization request is denied.

  • Patent number: 11680992
Abstract: A system for watering an electrolyte or lead acid battery in which the cumulative amount of water added during each filling event is determined by detecting the amount of water passing from a supply hose to the battery. A fluid dispensing member, such as a direct fill link or nozzle, can be attached to and detached from a single point watering subsystem. A flow detector, such as a flow meter, in fluid communication with the fluid dispensing member can wirelessly output the cumulative water added to specific batteries to an interactive computer application, which can include a wireless component such as a smartphone or tablet communicating with a remotely located interactive database.

  • Publication number: 20200061462
Abstract: An interactive game can include a first target object comprising a first body, a first controller, and a first sensor coupled to the first controller, where the first sensor measures a parameter that indicates when the first body is contacted. The interactive game can also include an initiating object, and a first player positioned a distance from the first target object, where the first player propels the initiating object toward the first target object. The first controller, based on the first parameter measured by the first sensor, can determine when the initiating object contacts the first target object and awards a point to the first player for contacting the first target object. The first controller can communicate a score of the first player to the first player.

  • Patent number: 10471937
Abstract: A compressed air system is provided for automotive or motorcycle use, wherein compressed air is utilized to assist clearing a windshield or a windscreen during foul weather. The system comprises an electrically driven or belt driven air compressor, a compressed air reservoir tank, a network of air lines throughout the vehicle or attached to a rider's helmet, and a plurality of air nozzles that release the air from the air lines on command. The ejected air is highly pressurized and exits at a high velocity to remove water droplets and particles for improved clarity through the windshield or wind screen. A user-operated switch controls at least one valve to release the compressed air from the network of air lines and through the nozzles, wherein the compressed air tank is continually replenished to allow for consistent and repeated bursts of compressed air over an extended period.

  • Patent number: 9969284
Abstract: The present invention is a state of charge monitor to aid in choosing the correct battery when changing batteries. The present invention is battery based instead of charger based. A monitor unit is mounted on each battery and is wired to measure the voltage on a certain number of battery cells. By monitoring this voltage, a microcontroller in the unit can tell if the battery in use, under charge or completed charge. The microcontroller has programming allowing it to add timers to each state event to make sure a true transition has occurred and not just a transient voltage. The microcontroller will then indicate the state of the battery, so that a user can determine which batteries are suitable for use in an exchange.
