Abstract: The invention concerns a process for the oxidation of organic compounds contained in a gas stream and comprises the step of introducing the gas stream containing the organic compounds together with sufficient oxygen to effect the desired amount of oxidation into an oxidation reactor containing an oxidation catalyst and maintaining the temperature of said gas stream at a temperature sufficient to effect oxidation, characterised in that the oxidation catalyst contains at least 0.01% by weight of ruthenium, cobalt or manganese.

Abstract: A method of measuring emotional response of at least one subject to a specific sensory stimulus comprises establishing (202) a plurality of basic emotions for measurement, including one or more positive affect emotions and one or more negative affect emotions. The subject is presented (302) with the specific sensory stimulus, and for each basic emotion is further presented (306) with a computer-generated display comprising interactive animated visual images representative of a metaphorical concept corresponding with the basic emotion. Input is then received (308) from the subject, who is enabled to adapt the animated visual images to accord with an emotional response to the sensory stimulus. The received input is converted to a corresponding quantitative emotional response value for each basic emotion.

Abstract: A system and a method is disclosed for monitoring parameters during cardiopulmonary resuscitation, including a compression measuring means, a ventilation measuring means and a processing means. If at least one of the measured values deviate from a respective reference range, the processing means provides an indication of the deviation. If more than one of the measured values deviate from a respective reference range, the deviations are prioritized with an indication being provided first to the deviation having a higher priority. The invention also regards a device for positioning on a patient's chest during cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which measures compression and which comprises a feedback module for providing a tactile output related to the measurements.

Abstract: A lower electrode plate receives radiofrequency power. A first upper plate is positioned parallel to and spaced apart from the lower electrode plate. A grounded second upper plate is positioned next to the first upper plate. A dielectric support provides support of a workpiece within a region between the lower electrode plate and the first upper plate. A purge gas is supplied at a central location of the first upper plate. A process gas is supplied to a periphery of the first upper plate. The dielectric support positions the workpiece proximate and parallel to the first upper plate, such that the purge gas flows over a top surface of the workpiece so as to prevent the process gas from flowing over the top surface of the workpiece, and so as to cause the process gas to flow around a peripheral edge of the workpiece and below the workpiece.

Abstract: A light module for use as a portable light or as a light source in a track lighting system is described herein. The light module may include a module housing containing a light emitting aperture, and a light emitting diode (LED) light source located inside the module housing, where the LED light source is aligned with the light emitting aperture. The light module further includes a driver electrically connected to the LED light source, and a chargeable power supply component electrically connected to the driver. The light module also includes at least two magnets attached to the exterior of the module housing, where at least one magnet is associated with a positive electrical terminal and another magnet is associated with a negative terminal, and where at least one magnet provides electrical power to at least one of the chargeable power supply component or driver.

For example, the system may monitor Twitter feeds associated with a particular sports event and analyze content posted in those feeds. Comments about a particular play made during the sports event (e.g., a touchdown) are detected by the system in the monitored feed content and used to locate and retrieve photos or videos associated with that particular play for display on a website or other content portal.

Abstract: A clamping assembly for a toolholder includes a toolholder body having an access hole. A locking sleeve is slidably disposed within the access hole and a center collet is disposed within the locking sleeve and is fixedly connected to the toolholder body. The center collet receives a retaining tip of a tool. A spring assembly and a release device cause the locking sleeve to move within the access hole between a load position, where the locking sleeve is disengaged from the center collet such that the center collet is open and a lock position, where the locking sleeve engages the center collet such that the center collet is closed and locks the retaining tip of the tool within the access hole.

A barcode scanner preferably scans product data and wirelessly communicates it to a database for use in an inventory management system for tracking and generating product and patient information for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) treatment, for example, when receiving items into stock, dispensing products, returning loaned, rented, and/or defective products, etc. Custom patient reminders, notes, reports, and the like may be generated automatically based on the scanned data.

A fumigation inlet can be arranged in the panel to allow a flow of a fumigant directly into the fumigation chamger. Mixing fans are provided that can circulate gases within the fumigation chamber.
