  • Patent number: 8177655
Abstract: A T-shaped golf instructional tool adapted to fit over the grip end of a conventional or belly-type putter for the purpose of teaching a proper putting stroke and improving consistency. An attach bar is fixed to a putter grip using hook and loop fastened straps. The attach bar extends above the putter between the user's forearms, where two horizontal rods are fixed to the attach bar at a common junction. The horizontal rods provide feedback to the user and ensure his or her forearms, wrists and arms stay positioned together through the putting stroke. The horizontal rods align perpendicular to the putter face, allowing alignment of the shoulders and feet relative to the intended target. The attach bar can be adjusted out of plane relative to the putter swing path to accommodate different user geometry and proper posture over the ball.

  • Patent number: 7475555
Abstract: A water dispenser assembly used for a dispensing system includes an inlet configured to receive water from a water supply, and a flow meter in communication with the inlet. The flow meter is configured to measure an amount of water passing therethrough. A first valve is arranged in communication with the flow meter, and the first valve is configured to enable and restrict water flow to an outlet. A controller is operatively coupled to the flow meter and the first valve. The controller is configured to control the dispensing of water based on the measured amount of water passing through the flow meter and based upon a volume error factor correction.

  • Publication number: 20070248815
Abstract: An index card assembly which allows selective adherence of an index card to a mounting surface is disclosed. A base paper layer of the index card has a front side and an opposite back side. The paper layer has an upper edge with a portion of the paper layer removed to define a paperless zone which includes a gap across the upper edge. A cover layer having an outer face and an inner face is adhered by pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on its inner face to the front side of the paper layer. The cover layer is aligned to cover the paperless zone with a top of the cover layer extending across the gap of the paperless zone. The adhesive on the inner face of the cover layer is thus exposed across the paper zone on the back side of the paper layer. The thickness of the paper layer prevents the adhesive from contacting a surface abutting the back side of the paper layer in the absence of the application of a threshold level of pressure against the outer face of the cover layer.

  • Publication number: 20070138044
Abstract: The present invention relates to an article for storing and organizing materials. The article has opposing front and rear panels. Each panel has an inside surface and an outside surface. The panels are substantially similar in geometry as defined by a perimeter. The panels are joined substantially along the entire perimeter such that at the inside surface of the front panel is proximate to the inside surface of the rear panel. An opening disposed within the front panel away from the perimeter. Finally, an adhesive disposed on at least a portion of the outside surface of the rear panel. A stack of a plurality of the articles is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20060210792
Abstract: The invention provides an article having a plurality of sheets stacked on top of one another. Each sheet has opposing, first and second surfaces, opposing upper and lower 730 edges, and opposing first and second side edges. Disposed on the first surface and adjacent to the lower edge of the sheet is a securing mechanism that has an adhesive disposed between first and second raised elements. The first and second raised element each has an application surface. The pressure sensitive adhesive has an exposed surface. The height of the adhesive, as measured from its exposed surface to the second surface is shorter than the height of either raised element, as measured from its application surface to the second surface. The sheets are attached together using various means.

  • Publication number: 20060177652
Abstract: A foamed pressure sensitive adhesive article is disclosed. The article includes a polymeric mixture containing a styrenic block copolymer and a polyarylene oxide polymer. Voids are formed in the polymeric mixture by expanding polymeric microspheres. The resulting foamed article contains numerous voids having substantially non-adhesive interiors that are compressible without collapsing. The invention is also directed to methods of making foamed pressure sensitive adhesive articles.

  • Publication number: 20050271848
Abstract: An adhesive clip assembly adapted to be mounted on a support surface for supporting a display article includes a clip sheet having a front face and a back face and a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on at least a portion of the back face of the clip sheet. The clip sheet has a cut therethrough which defines a flexible tongue, and the tongue has a front side and a back side. That portion of the back face of the clip sheet which has adhesive disposed thereon includes the back side of the tongue. The front face of the clip sheet is free of adhesive. When the display article is disposed against the front face of the clip sheet and aligned at least partially under the tongue, the display article is retained in place relative to the clip sheet by adherence to the adhesive on the back side of the tongue and a spring force exerted by the flexible tongue toward the front face of the clip sheet.
