    Abstract: Program execution can be monitored and recorded for later playback. Certain state changes that can be predicted via a virtual processor during playback need not be recorded, so a compressed recording can be stored. To facilitate random access with respect to time during playback, key frames can be stored within the compressed recording. An index mechanism can associate key frames with particular memory addresses. Additionally, a snapshot of values for memory addresses can be used to further facilitate determining the value of a memory address without having to simulate execution. Multiprocessor executions can be supported, and playback can be done on a machine type different from that on which recording took place.

    Abstract: A sensor or a sensor array connected to an electrical measuring apparatus is disclosed. In one embodiment, at least one sensor contains a layer of conductive modified particles which forms an electrical pathway or electrical circuit between two electrodes which are connected to an electrical measuring apparatus. In another embodiment, the first sensor contains at least one region of a nonconducting material and also a region that contains one or more modified particles. The modified particles are preferably conductive. An electrical path exists though the regions of the nonconducting material and the region containing the modified particles. The modified particles are conductive and more preferably are pigment particles such as modified carbon black, wherein the modified particles have attached at least one organic group.

Provided is a lysis buffer for the preparation of substantially accessible nucleic acid molecules from a single cell. Also provided are moderately-repeated highly-conserved nucleic acid sequences, and oligonucleotide primer and probe molecules which hybridize specifically thereto. Methods for the detection of the presence or quantity of one or more chromosomes from a single cell are included, as are methods for the assessment of the reliability of the results of the methods of the invention. Kits for the convenient practice of the invention are also included.
