  • Publication number: 20240216820
Abstract: Systems and methods for maintaining contests including non-fungible tokens (NFTs), determining that an outcome of a contest indicates a tie, and establishing a placeholder are disclosed. The NFTs can be associated with attributes and stored on a blockchain. The system can receive a request and selections of NFTs for entering a contest. Each NFT can be associated with a player profile and satisfy a selection rule. The system can generate a fantasy sports lineup including NFTs and modifying a restriction condition for each NFT. The system can determine that an outcome of a contest indicates a tie and calculating edition number totals to determine a winner of the tie. The system can determine that an NFT has been transferred to a player profile. The system can modify a first lineup to include a placeholder in lieu of an NFT.

  • Patent number: 11994842
Abstract: An industrial integrated development environment (IDE) supports collaborative tools that allow multiple designers and programmers to remotely submit design input to the same automation system project in parallel while maintaining project consistency. The industrial IDE also permits localized development of system projects, and provides an infrastructure for intelligently brokering between conflicting edits submitted to common portions of the system project. To facilitate effective collaboration via efficient communication between developers, the IDE system can be configured to send push notifications to personal client devices in response to relevant events originating within the development environment relating to development of an automation system project.

  • Publication number: 20240023519
Abstract: The disclosed technology includes a pet collar that can be configured to determine its geolocational position and evaluate that position with respect to the geo-fence of a predetermined, geo-fenced “safe” zone. If the collar determines that its position is inside a safe zone but is near the geo-fence, the collar can be configured to provide a warning correction. If the collar determines that it is outside a predetermined safe zone, the collar can also be configured to provide a stronger correction to discourage the pet from continuing away from the safe zone. The collar can also be configured to guide the pet back to the safe zone such as by varying the strength and/or type of correction provided based at least in part on the distance of the collar from the geo-fence.

  • Patent number: 11832042
Abstract: An assembly may include a speaker supportable for movement relative to a reference external to the speaker and a speaker housing supporting speaker components operable to produce an audio output. A sensor is operable to sense a direction of movement of the speaker during movement of the speaker relative to the reference. Control components are operable to control the speaker components based on the direction of movement of the speaker relative to the reference. When the speaker is sensed to be moving in a first direction relative to the reference, an operational characteristic of the speaker components is controlled to increase or advance during movement in the first direction. When the speaker is sensed to be moving in a second direction relative to the reference different from the first direction, the operational characteristic of the speaker components is controlled to decrease or retreat during movement in the second direction.

  • Publication number: 20230332792
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide methods, techniques, and apparatuses for controlling HVAC ventilation using a bypass mechanism called the Economizer Bypass Controller (“EBC”). The EBC is designed to be installed into any HVAC system, regardless of the economizer capabilities. The EBC provides “bypass functionality” as needed between an economizer and a damper mechanism to control outside air ventilation regardless of what the actual economizer is set up to do. Thus, the EBC can be used to meet ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) safety standards as they evolve, OSHA, and CDC guidelines as well as temporary or permanent health emergency bypass strategies such as to address increased or decreased ventilation needs due to, for example, pandemic emergencies or smokey conditions from wildfires.
